May June 2012 East Ohio Emmanuel Emmaus, Inc. "30th Anniversary of EOEE" Party in August E O E E Men s walk 79 May 31 to June 3 God Sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him. John 3:17 NLT I truly believe that God has put together a team that has a heart to serve the pilgrims that He has in mind for the weekend. They have answered His call to be the Hands, the Feet, and the Body of Christ as we take this walk together. I feel blessed and humbled to be a part of it, and I m realizing that He has taken complete control. We are 2 weeks from Walk weekend and are praying for Pilgrims, and the Holy Spirit to move in their hearts. Praise Him, and to Him be all the Glory! We have two more team meetings, and we thank you for your prayer and support. God Bless! YBIC Bob DeSeyn and Harry Poston E O E E Women s Walk 79 June 7 to 10 "May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer." Men Dean Andrews Luke Hamilton Barry Hess Rick Houchins Jim Leib Pete Reimer Bron Roeder Pilgrims Tom Royce Rock Van Fossen Evan Zimmerman Women Becky Carter Karen Floyd Christine Harte Connie Hess Jan Houchins After The Weekend Sponsored a pilgrim? Continue to PRAY for their 4 th Day! See that your pilgrim is in a group reunion, joins a current one or starts a new one. Keep in touch with your pilgrim and show as much interest and concern as you did before and during the weekend. Encourage regular church attendance and involvement in church activities. As you can see, sponsoring a pilgrim is a large responsibility. Therefore, prudence dictates that you sponsor no more pilgrims than you honestly can nurture and support. Remember, Christ is counting on you!!! Agape Teams Agape is love which is of and from God, whose very nature is love itself. The Apostle John affirms this in 1 John 4:8: God is love. God does not merely love; He is love itself. Everything God does flows from His love. We encourage the 4th Day community to hand write agape to the pilgrims of Walk #79 for them to see God s love through you. General agape is given to the pilgrims in the 1st drop (Sat. 3:21 pm) and 2nd drop (Sat. 9:25 pm). Note that personal agape is delivered in the 3rd drop (Sun. 11:32 am). Please drop off your agape at the agape room 1 hour before the time of each drop to give us time to sort and deliver to the pilgrims. There will also be an agape box in the barn the night of the Candlelight Service for the 3rd drop. Remember any agape must fit the mail slots that we use to sort for each pilgrim. Please save any large gifts for the 4th Day journey home. The agape room will be closed at 9 pm each evening. Please respect the teams privacy as they rest and prepare to serve the pilgrims the next day.
