The Sacred Paschal Triduum, the highpoint of our entire Church Year, will be celebrated sundown Thursday, April 13 to sundown Sunday, April 16. As a parish community, it is important that we celebrate the Triduum together. Mark your calendars and plan your schedules now, so that all family members can join us for the great liturgies of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, the Easter Vigil, and Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord! Pray for Persecuted Christians! Remember to pray for Christians around the world who are being persecuted daily for our faith. FIFTH SUNDAY OF LENT APRIL 2, 2017 CRS Rice Bowl Week Five: Ethiopia Photo by Petterik Wiggers for Catholic Relief Services Dita Abdo (gray shawl with red leaves), a mother of seven and recent graduate of CRS DFAP program, participates in SILC, which has enabled her to purchase additional livestock, and send her children to school. She s also received food and cash as payment for working n public works projects in her community. She is also part of a producer co-op that makes and sells fuel-efficient stoves for extra income, and opened her own shop with SILC savings and loans.
