When Words Fail Reading Plan Welcome to the study When Words Fail! Each day will focus on a passage of Scripture from the book of Psalms chapters 1-72. For the full experience, we invite you to read the daily reading before reading the First 5 teaching for that day. Day 1 Reading: Psalms 1-2 Major Moment: Psalm 1: The ways of the wicked and righteous are examined. Psalm 2: The Lord s anointed will reign forever. Day 2 Reading: Psalms 3-4 Major Moment: Psalm 3: David cries out to God to save him from Absalom. Psalm 4: David calls to God and asks for an answer. Day 3 Reading: Psalm 5 Major Moment: God is the judger of the wicked and protector of the righteous. Day 4 Reading: Psalm 6 Major Moment: David puts his hope in God s steadfast love to rescue him from sin. Day 5 Reading: Psalm 7 Major Moment: David wants to prove his innocence before God. Day 6 Reading: Psalm 8 Major Moment: God is infinitely great and gave mankind significance in His world.
