We commit ourselves to being a place of worship that is open and welcoming to all those seeking Sanctuary and celebrate the diversity that exists among us. We acknowledge that the land on which we gather is Treaty 6 Territory. We honour the Cree and Metis people for whom this place has been a homeland. We respect the sacredness of our home and the ground on which we walk and we are grateful to gather together here in peace and hope. WE GATHER AS A COMMUNITY OF GOD S PEOPLE MINISTRY OF MUSIC TIME OF SHARING HYMN: This Is the Day 412 CALL TO WORSHIP: One: God came to Jeremiah and said: All: Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you. Do not be afraid. I am with you. One: God comes to us and says: All: I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore, I have continued my faithfulness to you. One: And so we gather this day with joy and gratitude. All: We gather in Baptismal hope trusting the promises God has made. One: As we celebrate with Addilyn and her family, may her baptism remind us of the foundation of our faith: All: God is with us. Now and forever. PRAYER OF ADORATION We come, God of Living Water, in hope and love. Some of us arrive stumbling, some arrive dancing, but no matter how we get here we are all offered the same gift of hope. That you, the God of Job, the God of Jeremiah, the God of Isaiah, are our God, too. And no matter where we are on our journey of faith, You are there guiding us.
