We sing praises to God for who he is and for what he has done SONGS OF PRAISE EVERYWHERE I GO Kids for the King Children s Choir (Sanctuary) Everywhere I go, the Lord is near me, if I call upon him, he will hear me. Never will I fear, for the Lord is near, everywhere I go. In the dark of night should things alarm me, ever in his sight no ill may harm me, I will be of cheer, for the Lord is near, everywhere I go. He is with me day by day, he will be my strength and stay. From his path I will not stray but follow in his way. In the coming days of joy or sadness, I will praise his name with songs of gladness, For to me it s clear that the Lord is near, everywhere I go. CCLI Song # 485521; Words & Music by N. Sleeth; 1975 Choristers Guild; CCLI License #152421 LET THE PEOPLE PRAISE Chancel Choir (Fellowship Hall) Let them praise, let them praise, let the people praise him! Let us praise, let us praise, let the people praise him! Let all the people praise Jehovah. Let the people praise the Lord! Sing his praises over and over. Let the people praise the Lord! He alone is reigning over us. Let the people praise the Lord! Sovereign God and King victorious. Let them praise, let them praise, Let the people praise him! Let us praise, let us praise, let the people praise him! Praise the Father, praise the Spirit. Let the people praise the Lord! Sing his praise so all can hear it. Let the people praise the Lord! Praise the Son who died to save us. Let the people praise the Lord! Praise him for the call he gave us. He is God. He is King. He is Lord of everything. He is God! He is King! We will praise, we will sing! Let them praise, let them praise, let the people praise him! Let us praise, let us praise, let the people praise him! Let all the people praise Jehovah. Let the people sing, Hallelujah! Sing his praises over and over. Let the people sing praise the Lord! Words by J.C. Ward; Music A.D.; 1985 Music Anno Domini 2

COME, PEOPLE OF THE RISEN KING Come, people of the risen King who delight to bring him praise. Come all, and tune your hearts to sing to the Morning Star of grace. From the shifting shadows of the earth we will lift our eyes to him, Where steady arms of mercy reach to gather children in. Chorus: Rejoice! Rejoice! Let ev ry tongue rejoice! One heart, one voice; O Church of Christ, rejoice! Come, those whose joy is morning sun, and those weeping through the night. Come, those who tell of battles won, and those struggling in the fight. For his perfect love will never change, and his mercies never cease, But follow us through all our days with the certain hope of peace. Chorus Come, young and old from ev ry land, men and women of the faith; Come, those with full or empty hands, find the riches of his grace. Over all the world his people sing, shore to shore we hear them call, The truth that cries through ev ry age, Our God is all in all! Chorus 2x CCLI Song # 5232617; Keith Getty, Kristyn Getty, Stuart Townend; 2007 Thankyou Music (Admin. by Capitol CMG Publishing); CCLI License #152421 MAN OF SORROWS Man of sorrows, Lamb of God, by his own betrayed. The sin of man and wrath of God has been on Jesus laid. Silent as he stood accused, beaten, mocked, and scorned, Bowing to the Father s will, he took a crown of thorns. Chorus: Oh, that rugged cross, my salvation, where your love poured out over me. Now my soul cries out, hallelujah, praise and honor unto thee. Sent of heaven, God s own Son, to purchase and redeem, And reconcile the very ones who nailed him to that tree. Chorus Bridge: Now my debt is paid, it is paid in full by the precious blood that my Jesus spilled. Now the curse of sin has no hold on me. Whom the Son sets free, oh, is free indeed. (repeat) Chorus See the stone is rolled away, behold the empty tomb. Hallelujah, God be praised, he s risen from the grave! Chorus Praise and honor unto thee. CCLI Song #6476063; Words & Music by M. Crocker & B. Ligertwood; 2013 Hillsong Music Publishing, CCLI License #152421 3

We acknowledge our need of forgiveness and renewal through the cleansing blood of Jesus CONFESSION OF SIN Holy and merciful Father, we come before you in need of forgiveness. We confess our tendencies towards license and legalism. Some days we follow the fleeting joys of materialism, gossip, and gluttony. Other days we try cover our sin with our feeble works. Many times we live like your grace is not enough. Forgive us for trying to find happiness outside of you. By your grace, remind us that our sins have been dealt with on the cross. In your love, reveal to us the fullness of life that comes with following you. By the power of your Spirit, give us the strength to walk with you in joyful obedience. We pray all this in the name of our risen King, Jesus Christ. Amen. God reminds us of his promise of forgiveness in Christ ASSURANCE OF PARDON PSALM 103:8-13 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. He will not always chide, nor will he keep his anger forever. He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. As a father shows compassion to his children, so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear him. We enjoy and extend the peace of the gospel to one another GIVING OF THE PEACE Leader: Because Christ has removed our transgressions from us, we now have peace with God and peace with one another. May the peace of Christ be with you! People: And also with you! 4
