We will introduce Christian doctrine, including salvation, the study of the, along with the power of prayer. The prayer is that through this course students will learn not only how to live out their love for in their daily lives but also share the Good News with those around them. Wise Up is a study in the book of Proverbs. We will look at how the wisdom of God impacts our relationships, our character, our relationship with God, along with many other truths found in Proverbs. The prayer is through the class students will be developing hearts that desire to be shaped in the image of Christ. The Inner Man is a curriculum based off of Ephesians 3:16 and that as followers of Christ we must be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man. We will look at how we need to pursue inward development not just outward conformity and how righteousness is from the Lord changing us resulting in inward purity and strong character. UTF is a survey of Christian Apologetics and will look at topics regarding the authority of the, Christianity, Evil and Suffering, loving God and loving people, as well as other topics pertaining to Christian Apologetics. This course, along with the textbook will be online through the Summit U App. The prayer is through this course students will see that Scripture is authoritative, infallible and true. UTT is a survey of 6 major, competing worldviews, Secularism, Marxism, Postmodernism, New Spirituality, Islam, and Christianity forces that drive much of today s major events. Through this course students will have a beginning understanding of these worldviews, comparing them to Christianity and why it is important to have a solid and biblical worldview. The prayer is that through this course students will form a solid biblical worldview and be ready to engage the opposition of the worldviews around them. (1 Peter 3:15) The 12 curriculum is Understanding the Culture: A Survey of Social Engagement the third book in the series shows Christians how to transform culture. With a firm foundation in biblical theology, apologetics, and worldview, Christians have something vital to say about every significant issue of our day. The depth and creativity of Christian thought on today s events should inspire tremendous confidence in communicating biblical truth to friends, loved ones, and associates. In John 8:32, Jesus said we can know the truth, and the truth will set [us] free. Our prayer is that students will be equipped, challenged and inspired to share the truth of the Good News with people who are in bondage proclaiming the truth boldly, intelligently, and practically.
