In this new year, each of us should renew our commitment to the Lord Jesus, to one another as brothers and sisters in Christ, and to seeing lost souls served and saved. A television that shows the church service has been added to the room to make it more convenient for you as a parent. The room is also equipped with chairs and a changing table. (note new time) HOSPITAL VISITATION RQUST POLICY CHANG: Because of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), all request for hospital visitations from Deacons and Pastors must be requested by the patient or an immediate family member directly to the church. Hospital Chaplains or members of the church who may be aware of your hospitalization may no longer be the source of a visitation request. Please govern yourselves accordingly. Salem Fall Digital Newsletter Ads: Want to feature your community organization and/or business in Salem s newsletter? The Fall Special full-page ads are $100 and half-page ads are $50. The submission deadline for the Fall Special edition is Monday, October 29 th. Ads must be camera ready and are subject to approval by the church office. Tutoring Program: Saturday support is available for students in grades 3-6 at Monroe Middle School located at 5105 Bedford Avenue in Omaha. The focus of this support is in the areas of Reading and Math. Parents, the first quarter is coming to a close. Take a look at your child's progress. If support is needed, sessions are held beginning at 9:00 each Saturday through April 27, 2019. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Mid-term is approaching and we want to let students know that we are praying for their success. The care package includes a gift card from the church, an inspiring message from our senior pastor and his staff, a copy of a daily devotional, and a DVD of a church service. We are collecting student contact information on Sundays so we can mail the packages in late October. Please give the full name, mailing address, and email to an ducation Advisory Council member. Candlelight Memorial Service: The Bereavement Ministry has planned the annual Candlelight Memorial Service and reception for the families who would like to honor loved one(s) who departed this life in 2018 or before.
