Israeli Jewish Views on Trump and Jerusalem Shibley Telhami Principal Investigator A survey sponsored by University of Maryland fielded by StatNet Survey Methodology The survey was conducted by phone among a nationally representative sample of Israeli Jews. The panel was recruited by StatNet by telephone (70% cellular and 30% landline). The panel was recruited using a random sample of more than two million phones on a database divided by seven districts, which takes each district s proportionate size into consideration. It included a down-weighted oversample of 130 Haredim (Ultra-Orthodox Jews). A total of 650 panelists completed the survey. Responses were weighted by age and religiousness using benchmarks from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The survey was conducted May 6-9, 2018. The margin of error is 3.92% Valuable assistance was provided by Yousef Makladeh and Yara Fero from StatNet. Brittany Kyser and Sean Rao were particularly helpful. 1
