Mangohick Baptist Church Dr. Elijah L. Campbell, Pastor 804-994-5390 mangohickbaptistchurch147@gmail.com www.mangohickbc.org 2018 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33 Campbell s Corner Greetings to all our Family and Friends Blessed be the name of our Lord. It is a high honor and privilege to celebrate Resurrection Sunday on the first day and first Sunday of the month of April! Much love to all family, friends, and visitors on this Special Day in the Kingdom. We thank and celebrate God on this day for the many great and glorious things He has done for His people. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ; Ephesians 1:3. We pray that God Almighty will indeed bless you in a special way and grant unto you your hearts desires. For He declared in His Word that if we should delight ourselves in the Lord He would give us the desires of our heart. God sent and gave His only son and because He lives you and I are able to face tomorrow. Furthermore, we have the blessed assurance of knowing that He will never forsake us or leave us alone. Get excited about feeling good and the about the many wonderful things God wants to do in our lives individually and collectively. Sickness is a thief and God wants you well. Get excited over feeling good mentally, physically and emotionally again. The Great Physician is putting you back together. Decide to be healthy! Decide to feel good! Decide to be well! Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed, (Isaiah 53:4-5). Today is the first day of the rest of our lives therefore let us walk and talk like it. Tell somebody that we serve a Risen Savior! Let us continue to pray for one another and especially for those who are sick and shut-in. May the God of our Salvation continue to bless and keep you in all that you do. With Love, Pastor and First Lady Campbell April 2018 *Visit (www.mangohickbc.org) or view our Facebook page for weekly information, photos and sermon clips*

I ll pay you back tomorrow The repairman will be at your house by 8:00 The doctor will see you shortly I ll always be there for you CHURCH SCHOOL THE MONTH OF APRIL Special Focus: God is Faithful Ever been left with a broken promise? Some broken promises can t be avoided. After all, when we make promises we don t know about traffic snarls or sudden illness. But whether the broken promise is a slight irritant like forgetting to call a friend back or a devastating blow like a shattered marriage vow when we experience enough broken promises, we may begin to question anyone s ability to remain faithful to a promise. We can even lose hope. Thankfully, God is not like us. God is always faithful no matter what!! The reality of Jesus resurrection points to this great truth. By raising Jesus from the dead, God showed He makes the impossible possible. Nothing prevents Him from keeping His promise to us. God is faithful and will always do what He says. Jesus told us He would rise from the dead and He did! Let s look at the resurrection of Jesus that first day when Jesus came out of the tomb and discover how we can have hope because God is faithful! April 1, 2018 God is Faithful The Point: The empty tomb points to the faithfulness of God The Passage: Luke 24:1-12 April 8, 2018 Our Shepherd The Point: God guides us as He walks with us The Passage: Psalm 23:1-6 April 15, 2018 Our Righteousness The Point: Because God is righteous, He will ultimately make all things right The Passage: Jeremiah 33:3-8, 14-16 Stand Up: How to Fight Injustice We live in a world of injustice April 22, 2018 Be ready to stand The Point: God is always at work behind the scenes The Passage: Esther 2:5-10, 15-17 April 29, 2018 Stand with conviction The Point: It s always right to do the right thing The Passage: Esther 2:21-3:6
