All: He will judge the world in righteousness; he will govern the peoples with justice. Pastor: The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. All: Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you. Pastor: Sing praises to the LORD, enthroned in Zion; All: Proclaim among the nations what he has done. Prayer of Invocation and The Lord s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors; And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen. * Song of Praise This is Amazing Grace Who breaks the power of sin and darkness, whose love is mighty and so much stronger Who shakes the whole earth with holy thunder, who leaves us breathless in awe and wonder This is amazing grace, this is unfailing love, That You would take my place, that You would bear my cross You laid down Your life that I would be set free, Jesus I sing for all that You ve done for me 2
Who brings our chaos back into order, who makes the orphan a son and daughter Who rules the nations with truth and justice, shines like the sun in all of its brilliance Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, worthy is the King who conquered the grave Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, worthy is the King who conquered the grave Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, worthy is the King who conquered the grave Worthy is the Lamb who was slain; worthy, worthy, worthy Jesus, I sing for all that You ve done for me Reading of Scripture 1 Samuel 2:27-36 Prayer of Confession *Assurance of Pardon In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (1 John 4:9-10) * Psalm Psalm 67 God, to us show mercy, and bless us in Thy grace; Cause Thou to shine upon us the brightness of Thy face; That so Thy way most holy on earth may soon be known, And unto ev ry people Thy saving grace be shown. O God, let peoples praise Thee; Let all the people sing; Let nations now be joyful; let songs of gladness ring; For Thou wilt judge the peoples in truth and righteousness; And o er the earth shall nations Thy leadership confess. O God, let peoples praise Thee; let all the people sing; For earth in rich abundance to us her fruit will bring. God, our own God, will bless us; yea, God will blessing send; And all the earth shall fear Him to its remotest end. 3
*Confession of Faith Westminster Confession of Faith Chapter 13 13.1 They, who are once effectually called, and regenerated, having a new heart, and a new spirit created in them, are further sanctified, really and personally, through the virtue of Christ s death and resurrection, by His Word and Spirit dwelling in them: the dominion of the whole body of sin is destroyed, and the several lusts thereof are more and more weakened and mortified; and they more and more quickened and strengthened in all saving graces, to the practice of true holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. 13.2 This sanctification is throughout, in the whole man; yet imperfect in this life, there abiding still some remnants of corruption in every part; whence arises a continual and irreconcilable war, the flesh lusting against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh. 13.3 In which war, although the remaining corruption, for a time, may much prevail; yet, through the continual supply of strength from the sanctifying Spirit of Christ, the regenerate part does overcome; and so, the saints grow in grace, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Offertory Prayer, Music, & Offering Song (Psalm 130) I Will Wait For You Kauflin, Merker, Getty, Townend I wait, my soul waits for the Lord. My hope is in His word. More than the watchmen wait for light, my soul waits for the Lord. Out of the depths I cry to You, from darkest places I will call Incline Your ear to me anew, and hear my cry for mercy Lord Were You to count my sinful ways, how could I come before Your throne Yet full forgiveness meets my gaze, I stand redeemed by grace alone I will wait for You I will wait for You, on Your word I will rely I will wait for You surely wait for You, till my soul is satisfied So put Your hope in God alone, take courage in His power to save Completely and forever won, by Christ emerging from the grave Now He has come to make a way, and God Himself has paid the price That all who trust in Him today, find healing in his sacrifice I will wait for You I will wait for You, through the storm and through the night I will wait for You surely wait for You, for Your love is my delight 4

Hymn of Response #529 Love Divine, All Loves Excelling Love divine, all loves excelling, joy of heav n, to earth come down; Fix in us Thy humble dwelling, all Thy faithful mercies crown: Jesus, Thou art all compassion, pure, unbounded love Thou art; Visit us with Thy salvation, enter ev ry trembling heart. Breath, O breathe thy loving Spirit into ev ry troubled breast; Let us all in thee inherit, let us find the promised rest: Take away the love of sinning; Alpha and Omega be; End of faith, as its Beginning, set our hearts at liberty. Come, Almighty to deliver, let us all thy life receive; Suddenly return, and never, nevermore thy temples leave. Thee we would be always blessing, serve thee as thy hosts above, Pray, and praise thee, without ceasing, glory in thy perfect love. Finish, then thy new creation; pure and spotless let us be; Let us see Thy great salvation perfectly restored in Thee. Changed from glory into glory, till in heav n we take our place, Till we cast our crowns before thee, lost in wonder, love and praise! * The Benediction Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever.
