The Most Beloved Words with Allah, and the Most Hated Words with Allah The Messenger of Allah صلى اهلل عليه و سلم said : إن أح ب الكالم إلى اهلل أن يقول العبد : سبحانك اللهم و بحمد ك و تبارك اسم ك و تعال ى ج د ك و ال إله غير ك. The most beloved words with Allah are when the slave says : 'Glory and praise be to You, O Allah. Blessed be Your name and exalted be Your majesty, there is none worthy of worship except You'. And the most hated words with Allah are when a slave is told by someone : 'fear Allah', and he says : ' you take care of yourself'. Allah loves it if the person says : اللهم و بحمد ك و تبارك اسم ك و تعال ى ج د ك و ال إله غير ك,سبحانك and continues saying these words. This is the opening supplication of salaah, but can be said as dhikr too. The heart is important to Allah, not how beautifully you say it. You must believe it in your heart. And of the people is he whose speech pleases you in worldly life, and he calls Allah to witness as to what is in his heart, yet he is the fiercest of opponents سورة البقرة 2:204 أ ل د The hypocrite will speak about religion in a beautiful way, and his word will amaze the people. But he is the worst person. When he goes away from the people, he will spread mischief and corruption. When,ال خ ص ام someone will tell him اهلل,ات ق his ego and honour is hurt, and he feels insulted. Another form of the hated words is if you are falsely accused of something and told اهلل,ات ق when you haven't done anything wrong, and you feel insulted and defensive in your heart. This is also disliked by Allah. Even the feeling that someone is judging you wrong is disliked by Allah. When you praise Allah by saying,الحمداهلل but don't really mean it, this is also a form of the most hated words to Allah. The religion is not a gown which you wear and remove. Quantity amazes people, but Allah wants quality. The angels worship Allah day and night, He is,الغني the Most Rich, and,الحميد the Most Praised; He doesn't need quantity. There are steps to avoid this. Do not say things with your tongue of which your heart is empty Don't say things you don't mean. So when we are looking at the words which are beloved to Allah, we must know what they mean. These meanings should be present in the heart when you say the words, and your heart should know what you are saying.

Have you not considered how Allah presents an example, [making] a good word like a good tree, whose root is firmly fixed and its branches [high] in the sky? It produces its fruit all the time, by permission of its Lord. And Allah presents examples for the people that perhaps they will be reminded سورة إبراهيم 14:24-2 roots., the belief is the اإلعتقاد branches. the words are the,القول belief., the character, are the fruits of the األخالق, the deeds, and العمل When you have these elements, Allah will take care of all your matters. Your test is how connected you are with Allah, in your heart. When you say something, it must show in your actions. Negate all faults and imperfections from Allah. All the actions of Allah are perfect and beautiful. Even when your eyes see negative things, your mind should not go beyond this fact. This shows your trust in Allah, you trust Him more than your eyes and ears. The shaitan will not leave you without trying to put in your mind something negative about Allah, about His decree. He will highlight one bad thing which may have happened, and make a whole sad movie run through your mind. The shaitan is very good at connecting dots to make a picture. But with the words اهلل,سبحان you stop this sequence of thoughts. Sometimes you are so happy about something, and the shaitan will make you switch to unhappiness. Don't give him the control of the switch. Deal with him with the words اهلل,سبحان and everything will be positive and good and perfect. This is your weapon. Don't be angry and frustrated, just use your weapon. Sometimes you make dua and what you want doesn't happen. The shaitan will come, and sympathize with you, making you question why this happened to you. So you must say and feel اللهم,سبحانك that nothing is bad. Some people help the shaitan in his job, by increasing bad thoughts. Women specially can be used by the shaitan, because they are emotional and talkative. Don't bring people down, believe in اللهم,سبحانك and make others believe in it too. In life, you are around so many decrees, and the shaitan wants you to to think badly of them, so push all negative thoughts away. Attribute all praise to Allah. So remove all negativity, and attribute all positivity to Allah. When something happens which you see as bad, remove all negative thoughts, and praise Allah for the decree. When some good decree happens, the shaitan will make you not believe in,بحمد ك saying to you that it happened because of your goodness, and that you deserve it. We are all disabled,,عاجزين and we need Allah to give us power. The shaitan will try to make you believe that you have power by your own. If you believe that you can make things happen, your الحمد هلل is very weak. When you say,بحمد ك no one deserves the praise except Allah. We cannot even breathe without Allah. All our organs submit to Allah; the heart needs to be activated to submit to Allah. Don't give anyone or anything any

credit. If you make this dhikr with belief and conviction, you will be adorned with,التوكل reliance upon Allah, which is the most beautiful adornment. We tend to focus on the outer worship, neglecting the inner worship, which is. The more you trust and rely on yourself, the less is your tawakkul. Allah is the only One who can do anything. The dunya is a test, and our biggest trial is ourselves, and the means at our disposal. The test is not about your power, but about your heart. Don't be confident with anything except Allah; this is tawakkul. We see the means, they are tangible, so we tend to depend on them. But we must remember that the means are dead and useless without the will of Allah. In Surah Al Baqarah, Allah tells us the story of the Bani Israeel, when a man was murdered, and they asked Musa عليه السالم to judge. Allah inspired Musa عليه السالم to tell them to slaughter a cow, cut it into pieces, and throw the pieces of the cow on the murdered man. And [recall] when you slew a man and disputed over it, but Allah was to bring out that which you were concealing So, We said, "Strike the slain man with part of it." Thus does Allah bring the dead to life, and He shows you His signs that you might reason سورة البقرة 2:72-73 The means that Allah chose were dead. Allah wanted to show that the means don't work. All the means are dead, they have no value. Use the means at your disposal, but don't depend on them. The shaitan gives this the glittering word of selfconfidence. The more further you are from Allah, the more the means will be powerful, until they control you. If someone is sick, and has no means, his tawakkul will be strong. The more the means, the more the test. You may depend on them, and they may benefit your body, but corrupt your faith. If you don't know Allah, the means will have power and engulf you. When the means work, there lies the test. Rely of Allah, and He will give you support. Blessed is the name of Allah. We ask Allah for barakah, increment, in all our provisions. Barakah in offspring righteous children. Barakah at home no strife among the household members. Barakah in time more deeds in a shorter time. Nowadays, the word بركة is being replaced by,ماركة branded, so you think of reasons for the.بركة This negates اسم ك. Any blessing is from Allah. متفق عليه رياض الصالحني كتاب # 1 حديث # 474 The Messenger of Allah صلى اهلل عليه و سلم died when my house was void of any edible thing except for a small quantity of barley I had on a shelf and from which I kept eating it for a long time. Then when I measured what was left of it, it soon finished.

When you count the barakah, it dwindles away. The more knowledge you have of Allah, the more you believe that 1+1= infinity. Take it as a rule that the more materialistic you are, the more the barakah will leave. Allah wants to be exclusive in your heart. We need barakah in every provision, even sleep. Sometimes we sleep so much, and wake up still tired, and sometimes we sleep only a few hours, and wake up refreshed. When he became the khalifa, Umar Ibn Al Khattab رضي اهلل عنه was with the people all day, seeing to their needs, and he used to pray most of the night. Imagine how little he slept. When we take the name of Allah in whatever you do, Allah puts barakah in it. The words بسم اهلل are very powerful. When you pronounce these words before you eat, the shaitan cannot eat from that food. Think of acquiring knowledge; it is not about quantity, but application. You cannot leave yourself heedless even for a blink of the eye, or the shaitan will come and spoil things. When Allah blesses something, there is no problem. Narrated Anas Prices became excessive during the time of the Messenger of Allah اهلل عليه و سلم,صلى so they said: ي ا ر س ول اهلل س ع ر ل ن ا O Messenger of Allah! Set prices for us! Indeed Allah is the Determiner, the Withholder, the Granter, the Provider. And I am hopeful that I meet my Lord and none of you are seeking (recompense from) me for an injustice involving blood or wealth. جامع الترمذي حديث # 1314 Allah sets the prices, because He wants your money to go to that person. Exalted is the majesty and might of Allah. He is the only One who should be magnified. And [it teaches] that exalted is the nobleness of our Lord; He has not taken a wife or a son سورة الجن 72:3 These are the words of the jinn, when they heard the Qura'an being recited. They understood the greatness of Allah, an it affected them immediately. The الرب,تعظيم the magnificence of Allah, is absent from the hearts of most people. This is why we sometimes pray to get the salaah out of the way. People are so focused to build a home for themselves in dunya, forgetting their house in Jannah, which is eternal. If someone disregards the reward of Allah, he is not magnifying Him. When there is no تعظيم of His words and legislations, then there is no تعظيم of Jannah either. If you magnify Allah, you magnify His rules and legislations. We are heedless of this because Allah is unseen for us. If we focus on the reward of the dunya, we lessen the magnifying of Allah. Someone who doesn't magnify Allah in his heart, will not make this his concern. In life, we must struggle to magnify Allah, and not lose hope. You cannot trust yourself, ask Allah for help.

Worship should be with love for Allah, hope in His reward, and fear of His punishment. One of the signs of a lack of magnifying is,اإلستهزاء mocking the religion. Sometimes, you don't give Deen its value, dealing with its aspects in a casual manner. A child does will in Islamic studies, and also science; what makes you happier? When people find out you go to acquire religious knowledge everyday, it is shrugged off, or looked at as unimportant, but when you say you are working in a job, this is given respect. To miss school is a big offense, but to miss fajr is not viewed as a serious mistake. How can you magnify Allah? Condemn the affairs of the dunya. Matters of dunya reform only the dunya, whereas matters of akhirah reform the dunya and the akhirah both. Anything that you miss of dunya you can catch up with, the opportunity will come again, but if you miss a chance of akhirah, it is gone. When you magnify Allah, you will make Him your priority. All of this is in the heart. There is no one worthy of worship except Allah, in other words, Fill your heart only with Allah. Push everything else out of your heart, and focus on Allah. Remove all attachments from your heart except Allah. Don't wait for anyone else's pleasure but that of Allah. He is the First and the Last, the Ascendant and the Intimate, and He is, of all things, Knowing Whoever desires honor [through power] - then to Allah belongs all honor. To Him ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it. But they who plot evil deeds will have a severe punishment, and the plotting of those - it will perish سورة فاطر 35:10 When you say something with good intention, it is elevated to reach Allah. Allah deals with us as if each of us are the only ones, and we should also deal with Him as the only One. The good words must be pushed forward by good deeds, such as sincerity, reliance, hope, all the actions of the heart. It is important for a human being to be loved. To say the words beloved to Allah, to be beloved to Allah, we get so many chances. Don't leave any opportunity, even if you are busy, because this may save you from the hellfire. The most hated words with Allah when someone says to another ات ق اهلل have taqwa from Allah, and he is answered with the words عليك بنفس ك look after yourself. You need to surround your accounts with taqwa. Be within the boundaries before doing something, and have

taqwa, so as not to spoil it. People take these words as an insult, because they feel that they are being put down. But it is Allah who wants you to hear these words. Taqwa is to fulfill the obligations and abstain from the prohibitions. People don't like being advised, but remember that it is Allah who sent the person to advice you. It may seem harsh, but it is for your benefit. Any decree upon you is not in your control. Take the message without dwelling on the messenger. Sometimes you may be misunderstood; in this case, you don't need to justify your actions, and defend yourself, to feel good about yourself, and satisfy your ego. Be silent, this is taqwa. Sometimes you have to explain yourself, to your husband, but not to others. We have a tendency to defend ourselves; to deactivate this tendency, you need taqwa. The one who has taqwa reacts in slow motion. Your word is your weapon, and once it's thrown, you can't bring it back. If you are the one receiving the advice to have taqwa, take it as a command form Allah, and it will purify you. If you are the one giving this advice, say it gently, without letting your emotions get in your way. Whenever you advice someone, let it be with,لطف gentleness and subtlety. The best way is to say اهلل و قال الرسول,قال so that no one is upset. Don't use the words of Allah as a weapon, to wound the person; they should be used for reform. Purify your intention before you speak, or stay silent.
