Prayer Letter Directions 1. Mom makes a prayer folder or notebook for each child. For each folder/notebook, Mom makes one copy each of Hebrew Names of God and Their Meanings, Days of the Week & Months of the Year, and the five Word Bank pages. Mom places each of these forms on the left inside of the folder/notebook for the child s reference. 2. For each week and for each child, Mom makes a new set of copies of one each of the Praise Letter, Repentance Letter, Asking Letter, Yielding Letter, and Supplication Letter. Mom places the copies in the folder/notebook. 3. Each day, the child completes one prayer letter. Be sure the child actually prays through the letter after writing it. 4. At first, the child may want to heavily refer to the Word Bank pages to complete the letters. However, the child should be encouraged to eventually use his or her own imagination and heartfelt thoughts to complete the pages. Obviously, the ultimate goal is for the child to transition to writing his or her own prayer letters without writing prompts.
