UMKids Choir presents THE KINGDOM CONNECTION By Christy and Daniel Semsen Kingdom Connection Leave the modern world behind! Come on over, and you will find a glimpse into the life of a king. Come learn and see lessons for you and me. The Kingdom Connection. Step on in, experience a world that you ve never seen! You will see God s power displayed through the Kingdom Connection TODAY! What happens next? There are lessons to learn, through the choices they made. Some followed God, others went their own way. We Want a King What good is king who doesn t live in a palace? What good is a king that won t fight to keep you free? What good is a king who won t lead you into battle? What good is a king that you can t even see? The other nations have one. We want one too! We want a king! It s such a little thing to ask for; please give us this one thing. Give em a king! They may not like what they find, but they ve made up their mind. Fear the Lord and serve Him in truth. And when you serve the Lord, serve the Lord with all of your heart. And consider the great things he has done! He will not abandon His people; He will not leave them alone. He will not forsake them, because of His great Name. He will not abandon His people. He will not leave them alone Not My Battle There s trouble as far as I can see, and a giant is in front of me. I am small and unremarkable and they say I ll never win. But I know Who made the starry sky. And I know Who taught the birds to fly; Who makes the sun to rise and fall; Who taught the earth to spin. There s no need to fear, I know my God is here. It s not my battle. It s not my fight. My God is on it. He ll do what s right. It s not my battle; I will proclaim that all the glory is due His Name. That the earth may know that our God reigns. That the earth may know His power remains, I come in the Name of the Lord. I rest in the Name of the Lord. I Will Hope Lord, I wanna be wise and I wanna be strong and still I m gonna praise You. And sometimes I fail and sometimes I doubt, but still I m gonna praise You. Why so downcast, O my soul? Why am I discouraged? Help me trust. You ve overcome, and today I will remember. I will hope in my God; I will trust in Him. Though the road seems long, I will sing my song and I will hope in my God. It s been one of those days when it s easier to trust what s in front of me. Though I know you re there and I know You care, it isn t always easy. Why so downcast O my soul? Why am I discouraged? Help me trust. You ve overcome, and today I will remember Only One King Only One King. They say a baby s fixin to steal my throne. But how s a little baby gonna rule this land alone? I promise I won t hurt him, I just really wanna say Welcome to the neighborhood and brighten up his day. Only one king can rule the land. Only one king above the rest will stand. Only one king will take a bow. Only one king can be worshipped now. Twinkle, twinkle little star; now I wonder where you are. They say it s impossible to serve two kings. And how s a little baby gonna handle kingdom things? But I ll let bygones be bygones. I just really wanna say, Thanks for stoppin by And send him on His way. The Wisdom of God Understanding as measureless as the sand of the shore; insight that s deeper than the ocean floor; wisdom beyond the nations of earth. We need the wisdom of God. Compassion to feel a burden that s strong; discernment to see right from wrong; humility to know we can t make it alone. We need the wisdom of God! Help me see, help me know; make it clear which way to go. I am young, I am small next to You, King of all. Help me, Lord, help me; we need You. I need the wisdom of God. Help me see, help me to know; make it clear which way to go. Only Jesus Can Can He breathe into the dust? Can He make sons out of us? Life is in His mighty hands; our life is in Almighty hands. He can do it! Yes, He can. He will prove it! Our God can. No one else can save us, redeem us, create a new life in us. Only Jesus can. Can He love His enemies? Can He make us family? Life is in His mighty hands. Can He heal the leper s limb? Can He cleanse us from within? Can we drink from living streams? Can we ever be redeemed? He has healed the leper s limb. He cleansed us from within. We have drunk from living streams. Surely we have been redeemed. He Is the King The Kingdom connection. Step on in, experience a world that you ve never seen!
