But if salt loses its saltiness, ho ill it become salty again? It s good for nothing except to be thron aay and trampled under people s feet. You are the light of the orld. A city on top of a hill can t be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a basket. Instead, they put it on top of a lampstand, and it shines on all ho are in the house. Matthe 5:13-15 (CEB) GATHERING AS GOD S PEOPLE PREPARATION FOR WORSHIP Today s message juxtaposes nominal, lazy religion that may attend church or assent to certain beliefs ithout affecting the hole of one s heart and life. We long to kno your ays, so open our ears to hear those ords e alays ignore. We search for you each day, so open our eyes to your onders so e may see them ane. This class for younger children is using our denomination s We Believe curriculum in introducing our children to the faith. Youth (Upstairs, across from the choir room) Using a variety of creative curricula, this class explores topics that relate to faith and adolescence.
