December is here but where is the cool weather? December will be another busy month for the Lodge. The Lodge will open @ 12:00 on Sunday December 3rd for Pot Luck Lunch. The Elk Memorial Service will follow @ 2:00. Hoop Shoot will be held at the Boys and Girls Club December 9th @ 9:00 am. All the volunteers need to be there @ 8:30am. It takes a lot of volunteers to run Hoop Shoot so please plan on coming out and helping. Bring a friend to help show them Elkdom at work. Thank you to all that helped with the Veterans Lunch. Remember this is the month of giving and who better to give to than a Veteran. The box is still in the social quarters waiting for your donation along with the Toys for Tots box. Membership is our life line. Bring a friend and come have dinner. ELKS CARE ELKS SHARE Marietta Murchison E. R. Kingsville Elks Lodge Memorial Services December 3, 2017 at 2pm. Thanks to everyone who has been in the lodge, I hope you have enjoyed some great food, drinks, service and company. Thanks to the staff and many volunteers who work hard and continue to strive to find ways to further improve service and profits. Special thanks to the young musicians from TAMUK who donated their time and talents to entertain us, playing in the lodge on both steak nights in November. Ladies of the auxiliary, you are the best and it wouldn t be the same around here without your help, support and decorating talents, thanks. December will be another busy month as you can see in the bulletin and on the attached calendar. We will have live entertainment on December 16th for the Christmas Party, come early and participate in the bottle exchange and stay for the music and fun. We are still working on plans for New Year s Eve, call or come by the lodge closer to time for more information. Cont d on Pg. 6 Supporting America s Youth and Veterans
