Page Two St. Theodore s Church, Rochester, New York 40 Foods for 40 Days Neighbors Helping Neighbors Lent is here again and St. Theodore s Food Cupboard is asking you to be a part of our 40 Foods for 40 Days. 40 Foods for 40 Days will be a success when all members of the parish commit to donating 40 items of food that is just one item a day, just two of each of the above listed items and it s most certainly in keeping with the spirit of Lenten sacrifice. Last year alone you helped us serve 1,946 families in our community. You can see why our shelves continuously need to be restocked. We hope everyone, young and old, will take up the practice of selfless giving this Lent, to help those in need in our community. Donations can be brought in each weekend and placed on the Food cupboard table. You do not have to bring in all 40 items at the same time. We are asking you to make a real sacrifice by donating some of our most needed items: Tuna, Cereal, Jelly, Pancake Mix, Peanut Butter, Pancake Syrup, Pasta, Canned Pasta, Spaghetti Sauce, Crackers, Pork & Beans, Hamburger Helper, Tuna Helper, Tea/Coffee, Rice-A-Roni, Cake/ Brownie Mix, Hot Chocolate, Mac & Cheese, Jello Mix, Pudding Mix EASTER CANDY SALE Special Events Committee will be sponsoring an Easter Candy Sale after masses on March 21-22 and March 28-29.
