Every Child Ministries 2017 Annual Report

Sharing the Hope Why It Matters More Than Anything At ECM, we are not primarily in the business of filling stomachs, providing clothing, and making sure kids have a chance for a good education, though we do all those things and more. We are primarily in the business of bringing hope. Some hope is for today. It comes from a good meal, a needed surgery, a new dress, or a chance to attend school. This hope is integral to everything we do, but alone it is not enough. The best hope is one for eternity, the hope that carries us through all that we endure, because we are confident of an eternal reward. It is a hope based on the good news of Jesus, and the knowledge that God loves us deeply. This is the hope we share with children in Africa. In 2017, we fed, clothed, educated, and mentored thousands of kids. We trained teachers, encouraged caregivers, taught farming, shoe making, and tailoring, led Bible studies, and evangelized communities and schools. And the common thread running through each and every activity, event, and encounter, was a desire to share the hope of Jesus with as many people as possible. Because of your partnership with ECM, the only hope that really matters reached deep into the souls of the poorest and most needy, bringing joy beyond measure, and life-changing hope for today and eternity. "We can live about forty days without food, about three days without water, about eight minutes without air, but almost no time at all without hope". - Unknown 100% of all people need Hope!

Finances Why do donors give to ECM? Why do you give? Management $62,211 Fundraising $59,258 We hope it's because you, like all of us at ECM, want to share the hope of Jesus with the poor, the orphan, and the vulnerable. At ECM, we like to think that our donors are giving through us, not to us. You can partner confidently with ECM, knowing that we will use your gift wisely, effectively, and efficiently to touch as many lives as possible with life-changing hope. No gift is wasted, and every dollar given, in some way, impacts a life. You can count on it! Programming $1,028,121 Financial data is for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2017. Our Focus Orphans and Vulnerable Children At the very heart of everything we do are the needs of vulnerable children. Every one of our programs and projects align with our mission to bring these incredibly special children hope, help, and dignity. Education Almost nothing gives a child more hope than a good education. Our goal is to give our children every chance to be the very best that God has created them to be, and it starts with a proper education. Community Development and Evangelism Leadership Training Whether it's evangelizing at local schools, restoring street kids to their families, raising chickens and pigs, or helping to stop child trafficking, ECM workers in Ghana,, and the Democratic Republic of Congo are busy sharing the love of Jesus in very practical ways, making sure that kids both hear about and experience the love of God! Training leaders for the future is one of our most important tasks. ECM provides leadership training for schools, staff members, and church leaders. These trained national leaders impact the children of Africa in ways western missionaries never could.
