Tithing Affirmation: I am a biblically based tither because the word of God teaches tithing, my experience bears witness to tithing and my obedience to God requires tithing. I tithe my time, my talent and my treasure to God and His house. For it says in Malachi 3:10 Bring all the tithe into the storehouse, that there may be meat in My house and prove Me now in this, says the Lord of hosts, If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Philippians 4:4 proclaims we should Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! In our moments of joylessness and disappointments, do we take the time to remember that the Lord is on our side? Behind the screen of life, He has appointed angels to watch over and protect us from the enemy who seeks to destroy us. We can downplay our issues and still be content because the Lord is still in control. He created everything, and everything is maintained and preserved by Him. Father help us to grow and mature in all the seasons that You allow in our lives knowing that there is a time and place for everything. As You continue to prune and strip away the old mind-set of bad habits, bad attitudes, bad thoughts, and bad desires let us stay steadfast and planted as we wait for a new season. Help us, Holy Spirit to look at every season as time for growth by eliminating emotional baggage and resentment, as a time of renewal, to be healed, to be delivered, to be set free. Remove the desire that we must stay or return to the familiar, even when it is not beneficial for us. Glory to the Father of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
