REsources Bank Catalogue For Schools 2017 2018

REsources Bank Information There are over fifty RE Resource Boxes available from Church House for schools to borrow. These boxes are filled with exciting resources, such as books, persona dolls and more, that will help to engage and enthuse pupils in RE. The boxes cover the five major world faiths and are mainly topic specific ranging from Christian Baptism to Hindu Weddings. Schools can either request the boxes and collect from Church House or arrange for a representative from the Diocese to visit their school with a range of boxes. The RE Resource Bank is supported by funding from Brighton and Hove City Council, Brighton and Hove SACRE and the Letitia Tilbury Tanner Trust. Schools that have paid into the Diocesan Partnership Agreement (PA) or schools in Brighton and Hove can borrow these boxes free of charge. However, schools will be charged for any items that are lost or damaged. Schools who have not paid into the Partnership Agreement may borrow the boxes at a cost of 50 per Resource box. Copies of The REsource Bank Liability Document and REsource Bank Loan Form can both be found on the Education website: Education Department website: http://schools.chichester.anglican.org

REsource Bank : Liability Document 2017/18 This document represents an agreement between any school in Brighton and Hove City or a Church School in the Diocese of Chichester for the school to borrow resources from the REsource Bank based at Church House, 211 New Church Road, Hove, BN3 4ED. I, as a representative of the school named below, agree that: Any resource that is borrowed must be returned by 4.30pm on the agreed return date (usually a six week loan) If a resource box is renewed and is then requested by another school, the box will be returned within one week of the request. A fine will be paid for late return at 5.00 per box, per week. Boxes must be checked by the School before return and a Return Checklist Form completed confirming that all items within the box have been returned. A representative from the Diocese will then confirm that all items are present and correct. It is the school s responsibility to cover the cost of any lost or damaged items.
