ORDINANCE NO. 01-~~ AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF BACKHOE/LOADERS WHEREAS, of two Backhoe/Loaders; and the Village of Chatham sought and obtained bids for the purchase WHEREAS, the Village appropriated sufficient funds in the annual Appropriation Ordinance to purchase the equipment bid in the General, and water and Sewer funds, and WHEREAS, on August 24, 2001, at 4:00 p.m. the attached bids were opened and the lowest responsible bidder identified; and WHEREAS, the Village staff has reviewed the bids and is recommending acceptance of the lowest bid from Altorfer Inc. for the amount of $93,828.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF CHATHAM, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the bid from Altorfer Inc. for a total of $93,828.00 is hereby approved with the cost to be shared equally as followed: FUND LINE NBR AMOUNT General 100-601-445 $46,914.00 Water & Sewer 700-101-445 $46,914.00 SECTION 2: This Ordinance is effective upon its passage and approval.
