Loyd Lighthouse The Newsletter of Loyd Presbyterian Church April 25, 2018 Evangelism Sunday, April 29! Mack Tidwell will be preaching, please join us and invite your friends and family to attend. SAVE THE DATE: Loyd Presbyterian VBS June 17th 21st

From Your Pastor We had such an amazing Confirmation Sunday this past week! I am thrilled these young men and women professed publicly their faith and are now officially members of this church. I want to thank all who actively took a part in their faith journeys (family, friends, teachers, leaders, and so many more) and also those who took part probably without knowing (through prayers, through giving to the budget which provides the resources for classes/conferences and so much more, through your presence here which shows them dedication to the church and continued faith journeys). We have a very faithful church, and I am glad to be your pastor. As we welcomed these new members, I am also reminded that we need to make certain we are reaching out to those we may not have seen recently--those who may be homebound, those who are going through life's struggles, those who may have been hurt or felt alone, and those who have just gotten out of the routine of attending. I encourage you to contact them and invite them back or reach out and simply be the church for them wherever they are in life! Believe me, that one gesture can make all the difference in the world. Grace and Peace, RIX Taste of Italy Please join us for the annual Mother-Daughter Banquet Saturday, May 12 th, 2018 5:00 p.m. Please RVSP by Sunday May 6, 2018 chrisandmiss95@att.net 706-415-5695 2
