Stewardship Department Dr. Sheila Holder Stewardship Director Treasury Department Debt is not a principle of heaven. But Adam and Eve sinned, and a broken law meant death. Thus, humanity became debtors to divine justice. We were bankrupt, spiritually, insolvent from debt that we could never repay. God s live for us set motion the plan of redemption. Jesus became Surety for us. (Heb. 7:22). By pouring the whole treasury of heaven into this world, giving us Christ all heaven, God has purchased the will, the affections, the mind, the soul, of every human being. Christ s Object Lessons, p. 326. The religion of Christ does not require us to lose our identity of character, but merely to adapt ourselves, in some measure, to the feelings and ways of others. Many people may be brought together in a unity of religious fai th whose opinions, habits, and tastes in temporal matters are not in harmony: but if they have the love of Christ glowing in their bosoms, and are looking forward to the same heaven as their eternal home, they may have the sweetest and most intelligent communion together, and a unity the most wonderful. Testimonies V4, p65. Kindly send an email to: 56rve11@gmail.com as to the allocation of your payment. The Church now accepts online payment of Tithes & Offerings to: HSBC 010-412807-001.
