COLOSSIANS: Jesus Christ is All-Sufficient Love and the Responsibilities of the Christian Husband Colossians 3:18; Ephesians 5:25 33

Col. 3:18, Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Col. 3:19, Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them. Col. 3:20, Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord. Col. 3:21, Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.

Eph. 5:25, Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, Eph. 5:26, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, Eph. 5:27, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. Eph. 5:28, So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. Eph. 5:29, For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. Eph. 5:30, For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. Eph. 5:31, For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. (Gen. 2:24) Eph. 5:32, This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Eph. 5:33, Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

Eph. 5:2, And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Rom. 8:32, He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

2 Cor. 5:14, For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 2 Cor. 5:15, and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:17, For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:17, For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:18, He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 13:34, A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. John 13:35, By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

Gal. 5:13, For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. Gal. 5:14, For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (Lev. 19:18)

Gal. 5:19, Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, Gal. 5:20, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, Gal. 5:21, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Gal. 5:22, But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, Gal. 5:23, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

Rom. 5:8, But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Eph. 2:8, For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, Eph. 2:9, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
