From the Desk of... Kirstin Keller Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time July 15, 2018 Dear Sister s and Brother s, As you all know I usually try to write about different things other than the Gospel or Readings of that week in my letters. This week I would like to write about the Apologetics Class that was held at San Miguel the last two years. It was a total of four semesters. It was such an amazing opportunity and I was very fortunate to have been one of many facilitators for that time being. A great bond was formed between our groups and we made life long friends over those two years. I learned a lot more from my group than I think they did from me; it was a journey worth taking. We learned so much in that brief time and it really helped strengthen our Catholic knowledge and Faith. TJ Chester was an amazing lead facilitator and went above and beyond preparing his pre-class lectures. He also always gave us something to think about the following week and always welcomed questions if they had arisen. Are you ready for the exciting news? We have another opportunity to experience more growth in our spirituality starting on Tuesday, August 28 th at 6:15 PM. A new Apologetics Series in the Fall semester will begin. You did not have to attend previously, and I encourage anyone interested to attend. This is a worthwhile class and you will not regret signing up! Hope to see you all there in August! Have a wonderful rest of the Summer months! In Christ, Kirstin Keller MINISTRIES & SPECIAL CLASSES THE SAN MIGUEL GIFT SHOP IS OPEN DAILY MONDAY THRU THURSDAY 10:00 AM TO 4:00 PM & FRIDAY 10:00 AM TO 12:00 NOON (New Supply of First Communion & Confirmation Items; All Occasion Cards Are Also Available) Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament: Every Friday following the 9:00 am Mass until Noon.
