PHONE: (972) 562-2601 Zach Zastoupil December 7, 1964 - September 30, 2010 Zachary Zach Mark Zastoupil was born December 7, 1964 at Dallas, Texas to Louis Zastoupil and Joann Clark Zastoupil. He married Kristi Todd on September 14, 2001 at Trenton, Texas He died Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the age of 45 at Texas Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Zach was a math teacher, coach and elementary school principal. He spent his career in Blue Ridge, Bland and his last 11 years in Trenton, most recently as the Elementary School Principal. He was member of the First Baptist Church in Trenton. Zach was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in May of 2005. During his long battle with this illness his faith in Christ only grew stronger. He was not only a strong Christian example to family, friends and his school family, but to all that knew him. He is survived by wife, Kristi Zastoupil of Trenton; daughter, Alexis Zastoupil of Trenton; step-sons, Nathan, Seth and Colt Henry of Trenton; mother, Joann Zastoupil of Richardson; sister, Valerie Tarrant and husband Don of Plano; brothers, Lou Zastoupil of Plano; Kerry Zastoupil and wife Mary of Longview; Richard Zastoupil and wife Cheré of Frisco; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Zastoupil. Funeral Services will be held 4:00 PM, Monday, October 4, 2010 at Trenton High School Gymnasium, Trenton, Texas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Steve Holland. Burial will follow at Burns Cemetery in Trenton, Texas. Pallbearers will be Ryan Tarrant, Eric Zastoupil, Brett Zastoupil, Rick Foreman, John Orozco, Keith Kirkland, Rob Meyer. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cade Zastoupil, Grant Flippo, Cody Baker. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Sunday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 3-5pm at the First Baptist Church, Trenton. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Trenton Family Life Center. seriously and respected everyone he was an extraordinary man with a great heart and we will all miss him deeply and i will always remember him. He was the only teacher who could help me get my head around geometry. He even let me attain my license, even though I never quite mastered parallel parking! He was so fun.
