And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, to design artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of workmanship. Exodus 31:3-5 PREVIOUS Message Summary: In Exodus 28-29, we saw the patterns given for the priestly garments, and Aaron and his sons were hallowed as ministers of God. For a detailed outline and the free media files from Exodus 28-29, please visit the expound archives: http://cabq.us/a PRAY Father, Your tabernacle was a sweet-smelling place. Please show me what made it so fragrant, as I study Exodus 30-31. In Jesus name, amen. Journal your prayer here: PREVIEW In Exodus 30-31, instructions for additional furnishing, oils, and incense were given to Moses, two men were identified as Spirit-filled artisans, and we read an important reminder. 1

The Bronze Laver - Read Exodus 30:17-21 The laver or basin was constructed of bronze. What was put into it and what was it used for (v. 18)? PRODUCE One priest s duties were to prepare and offer incense on the altar. What did the incense typify and how can you perform this duty as a member of the royal priesthood? PROCEED Share with the group the ransom paid by the children of Israel. How was our ransom paid? (See Matthew 20:28 and 1 Peter 1:18-19.) 3
