Riley Prayer Line Call Parish Office at 727-546-3315 SCRIPTURE REFLECTION: In today s Gospel Jesus teaches us about the sacredness of marriage; a covenant that is a gift from God. Our relationships with our spouses, family, friends, coworkers, and those in our community of faith are all gifts from God. Jesus reminds us today that it is the hardened heart that damages or breaks up relationships. Good stewards understand the holiness of relationships and pray for the love, patience, understanding and kindness necessary to sustain those relationships. Take time out to prayerfully reflect on your relationships this week. Is your stewardship of these relationships as God intended? What relationships need to be healed and reconciled? International Catholic Stewardship Council Holy Cross FAST Ministry Members are invited to attend the FAST Annual Assembly New Parish App Coming Soon! Next week, Holy Cross will launch our own app for Apple and Android smart phones. This will allow us to better communicate with you throughout the week and keep you updated with relevant parish news or updates. The app is very well designed and very intuitive. It will be a great resource for parishioners by providing daily Mass readings, Catholic news and prayers, convenient prayer and Confession reminders, our bulletins and more. We hope for our new app to be a tool for fostering stronger parish life at Holy Cross and better engaging the New Evangelization. Rosary Makers Our Lady s Rosary Makers was founded in 1949 by Xaverian Brother Sylvan Mattingly, C.F.X. on the premise that he would teach people to make rosaries and distribute them freely to missionaries. OLRM provides support, resources, and materials in the spirit of Br. Sylvan s mission and vision. It is a member driven, non-profit, Catholic lay apostolate. The diverse and active members spread devotion through the Immaculate Heart of Mary by making and sharing the Rosary with the world s spiritually needy. The Rosary Makers at Holy Cross gather on the 3 rd Wednesday of each month to make rosaries with supplies funded by Holy Cross Women s Club. Instructions for making the rosaries are given, then most members take the supplies home to make rosaries. Approximately 150 250 rosaries are shipped to various missions around the United States. If you are interested in joining this project, please contact Patty Liguori at 727-946-9402.
