Opportunities... Christmas Flash Mob Christmas Baskets Last year we did a Christmas Flash Mob at Rogue Valley Mall, and they have invited us back! No choir experience necessary; we will be singing familiar Christmas carols in a medley. Flash Mob will take place at the mall on Friday, December 17. Weekly rehearsals will run Tuesday, November 11 - Tuesday, December 16, 6:30-8pm at our RVC Redwood Auditorium. No child care provided. Questions? Call Laurie at 541-601-7798. Lifeline Ministry Lifeline Ministry provides support and encouragement for people in our community who are in need. Their needs can be physical, spiritual and/or financial. We help each person understand and benefit from the network of helps within our community as well as lending a listening ear and encouraging them through prayer. Lifeline hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9am - 2pm. Volunteers are needed for as little or as much time as you feel able and called to give. Please be in prayer as to what God may be calling you to do in His name. If you are interested, please contact Pastor Chuck at 541-476-7761 x118. Loaves and Fishes is the First Weekend of Each Month Our Loaves and Fishes cart will be in the church lobby the first weekend of the month to receive food and supplies for the ROC (Reaching Our Community). Items most desired: non-perishable boxed or canned food. personal hygiene items like soap, shampoo, toothpaste, women s items, etc. household cleaning supplies. baby supplies like diapers, clothes. household living items like dishes, glasses, small appliances, and furniture. If you have a large item to be donated, please call Ruth Johnson, 541.476-3344. The pantry is located at 564 SW Foundry Street. Food distribution hours are from 2:00-6:00pm,Thursdays and Saturdays from 9:00am - 12:00pm. Donations received M-F, 10:00am - 2:00pm. Love Offering Your contribution is designated to Lifeline Ministries and is used for those who have encountered financial difficulties. Your contribution, over and above your regular giving, is greatly appreciated. A blue Love Offering envelope will be included in the worship folder for your convenience. Thank you!

All women are invited to: Christmas Celebrating JESUS: From Stable to Savior When: Friday, December 5 Time: 7:00-8:30pm Location: River Valley Redwood Worship Center Cost: $5 per person (tickets available in the church office beginning November 10 & in the church lobby November 22/23 & 29/30) Speaker: Judy Squire Charity: Pregnancy Care Center - items needed are newborn sizes...diapers, handmade items, clothes, wipes, lotions, powders, money for purchase of new car seat, crib, basket full of necessary baby items. Please bring the night of the event. A Light dessert will be served. Spring Retreat Planning Meeting Women s Retreat November 15, 9-11am in room FC-A, we will begin forming teams and start planning for our retreat. Areas in which we need help include registration/sign-ups, music, prayer team, hospitality, drama and more. You are welcome to come and see if this is something you would like to participate in. Anna s Ministry Anna s Ministry, a ministry for widows and all single ladies 55 and over, meets for fun, fellowship and food. Outreach (Global & Local)... Operation Christmas Child Operation Christmas Child Samaritan's Purse Ministry This wonderful church project is a great way to show the love of Jesus to the most needy children around the world. Starting November 1 23, you can pick up information in the church lobby. OCC shoe boxes are available at the church office or lobby while supplies last. November 23, is the last day to turn in the shoe boxes! Volunteers are still needed especially for packing the last day. Please call Sheryl for details, 541-476-7761 x120. Angel Tree Angel tree gives children from prison families gifts, which one or both parents can t supply. You can pick tags off a tree in the church lobby on November 22/23. All gifts must be turned in by Sunday, December 7. Faith House Wreath Faith House is a Christian-based transitional home for women. The wreath will hang in the church lobby from November 29-December 18. On the wreath are tags with the needs of Faith House as well as the ladies and children who are in residence. Take one tag or as many as you would like, purchase the item(s) and return them to the church or church office by December 18. Wrapping the item(s) is optional.
