Sermon Notes Thank you for allowing our nursery staff to care for your little ones so the worship of others will not be distracted. Pagers are available. Children are invited to participate in the Children s Message. When they exit they may join the Little Lambs (age 3-5) or the Worship Center (K-2nd grade). At the close of the service, please call for your child. Both centers are located upstairs, the first hallway to the left. WELCOME TO GOD S FAMILY as we gather to worship our God and renew our love for Jesus Christ our Lord. God calls us to focus on the two most important aspects of life, Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your heart. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Deuteronomy 6:5-7. Her family and hospice care are keeping her as comfortable as possible. Karen Bouma will have shoulder surgery on Wednesday. Our sincere thanks for the many acts of kindness shown to us during my fall and recovery. Thank you for cards, flowers, phone calls, visits and food brought to our home. Most of all, thank you for your prayers. A special thanks to Pastor Michael for his visits. We praise God for healing mercies. Pastor Tom Sahlstrom is retiring after 19 years of faithful ministry to the residents, families and staff of the Milaca Elim Home and Country Meadows. They are honoring him with a farewell coffee in the Elim dining room this Thursday, August 28, from 2:00 3:00 p.m. Please come and wish him God s blessing as he begins a new journey!
