It has been a joy to serve you these past five months. We have learned a lot together. We have laughed, cried, celebrated and mourned together. I share your excitement as you now begin preparing to receive a new pastor. If you have not yet started, please begin praying for him as he prepares to leave, and pray for his congregation Beitel Memorial, as they say good bye. Continue those prayers as you support him in your ministry together. Zion has a long history of ministry. The pastor does not do the ministry, it is only accomplished when people take responsibility for the ministry, along with the pastor. He is a leader and a guide, but effective ministry requires each of you. There are wonderful, talented people at Zion. Be prepared to use those gifts for the glory of God and this congregation will flourish. God bless you all in your journey. My prayers go with you for strong ministry here in Fredericksburg. Thank you for allowing me to walk with you for a
