For it to be effective, it must be Meaningful He who spares his rod hates his son, But he who loves him disciplines him promptly (Proverbs 13:24, NKJV). Chasten your son while there is hope, And do not set your heart on his destruction (Proverbs 19:18, NKJV)>

For it to be effective, it must be Meaningful Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; The rod of correction will drive it far from him (Proverbs 22:15, NKJV). Note the rod of correction

For it to be effective, it must be Fair Ephesians 6:4 (NKJV) And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord. Colossians 3:21 (NKJV) Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.

How will it be Well with you It will give example to follow - Jesus Hebrews 12:2 (NKJV) Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

How will it be Well with you It will give Hope for the future 1 Peter 1:3 (NKJV) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Many young people are living without hope Suicide is the SECOND leading cause of death for ages 10-24. (2013 CDC WISQARS) Suicide is the SECOND leading cause of death for college-age youth and ages 12-18. (2013 CDC WISQARS) More teenagers and young adults die from suicide than from cancer, heart disease, AIDS, birth defects, stroke, pneumonia, influenza, and chronic lung disease, COMBINED. Each day in our nation there are an average of over 5,400 attempts by young people grades 7-12.

Conclusion Motivation? We all need it!
