Both can be called upon as teachers to help us transform ourselves and to remove obstacles from our lives that are getting in the way of our personal and spiritual growth. Fire is a powerful source of energy that when actively invoked initiates power that can fuel our infinite potential. The combined energies of fire and snake medicine are both symbolic of the life-death-rebirth cycle. Fire with its ability to burn through, and is exemplified by snake with the shedding of its skin. In some cultures the snake and the fire element represent the same direction on the medicine wheel. Snake is also representative of our Kundalini energy. Join us in this powerful workshop where we merge the energies of both fire and snake medicine, and awaken our inner fire, and
uncoil the goddess serpent within. In this powerful time together we will dive deep into meditation and be further awakened by being physically present with the amazing Firesnake Sachi. This is also an opportunity to transform or overcome any fears you may have of snakes by meeting this extremely wise being. Note: Sachi is a gentle, and spiritually powerful gray banded king snake that has given and received much healing among community. If you are more comfortable observing, as opposed to handling Sachi, you will be supported in that by your sisters. Sachi is a non-poisonous snake. Photo ops welcome! Keeping with tradition, the Women of Columcille invite you to come celebrate and honor our beloved, Brighid, Goddess of Fire and Water. It is also that time of year when life slowly begins to flow and move underneath. It is the return of Light, the beginning of Spring also known as Imbolc flowing of ewe s milk when it was all agrarian society. Let s celebrate and prepare ourselves for the return of Light once again through ceremony, song, ritual and camaraderie of all your Sistars or just take me time, walk the land, meditate and reflect! In ritual, open yourselves to the loving transmuting energy of the Violet Flame, and then dive deep into the healing Sacred Water discover how deep your connection to Water is maybe even learn there is a Mermaid inside you! Be transformed with a powerful Divination Circle. Of course, there is play time for the inner child to create and express herself with our craft time! Later we honor Brighid with a healing Fire ceremony, followed by our deeply bonding bonfire gathering with song, chants, and placing of cloths for Brighid s Blessings. Then let off steam from all that fire work with a pulsating drumming circle! Gift yourself with the richly rewarding and fulfilling retreat experience, whether it be just one day or the whole weekend.
