In this retreat you will receive a complete Kundalini Yoga program. After the retreat you will have enough knowledge and experience to continue by yourself. If you are already practicing Kundalini Yoga you will receive higher techniques. Style of Kundalini Yoga Kundalini Yoga belongs to Tantra Yoga and is clearly defined in ancient tantric texts. Our style is influenced by Hatha Yoga and Kriya Yoga and make these different practices compatible with each other. You will receive personal guidance. Kundalini Yoga is a serious practice so it is important to be cautious. For this reason the practice will be adjusted to the capacity of each individual. The structure of the retreat Every morning you will receive a guided meditation and a full Kundalini Yoga Class with all the necessary teachings. In the afternoon the same class will be repeated individually by everyone in the presence of the teacher and personal adjustments will be given. In the evening there will also be a guided meditation. Free time for relaxation, beach and singing Bhajans. The retreat includes Serva (service) that means everyone help with cooking and keeping Ellas Retreat Centre clean. The main content of the Retreat Kundalini Yoga Is a systematic way of activating the kundalini shakti. The following techniques are used for this purpose. Asanas, Pranayamas, Bhandas, Mudras, Chakra meditations, Mantras and Dharanas. You are not expected to have any knowledge of these techniques to be able to participate, during the retreat you will receive all you need to know. Page 1 of 5
Mindfulness meditation To bring yoga into every action of daily life it is important to develop mindfulness (self observation). Mindfulness meditation belongs to Jnana Yoga Bhajans If you wish to develop devotion. Singing mantras and devotional songs elevates the energies and opens the heart. Bhajans belongs to Bhakti Yoga. Serva As part of the yoga practice you are expected to help with the daily tasks so the retreat can run smoothly. Cleaning the rooms, cooking, cutting vegetables etc. Serva belongs to Karma Yoga. Healthy Food Thanks to our organizer Antonis who is running a catering service for retreats called the FoodPath we can offer a healthy menu. A vegetarian brunch and dinner will be served. Basu He is an experienced teacher and has been giving courses and retreats in yoga, tantra and meditation in India, Thailand, Greece, Denmark and Austria since 2000. He offers a clear teaching and practice from different spiritual traditions without them loosing their originality. He began his yoga sadhana (spiritual practice) in 1997 and was in the following periode introduced into Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Tantra, Vipassana and Qi Gong. In 2002 he was initiated in Kriya Yoga by Swami Shankarananda Giri. In 2008 Swami Shankarananda Giri gave him the allowance to introduce and guide others into Kriya Yoga and in 2016 he became a Kriya Acharya and can give initiation into Kriya Yoga. He have permission from Guruji Rajkumar Baswar to share tantric sadhanas since 2014. He is the founder of Kriya Dharma and Co founder of Ellas Retreat His main teachers: Kriya Yoga - Swami Shankarananda Giri, Tantra - Guruji Rajkumar Baswar, Vipassana - Thanat Chindaporn, Self inquiry - Prem Baba Qi Gong - Jorgos Pappas and was inspired especially by Kundalini Yoga - Swami Satyananada Saraswati and Eckhat Tolle. Teona was brought up in a medical family. She learned electro-acupuncture next to her dearest teacher and grandmother Eteri, so in an early age she had understandings about energy healing and self study. She was involved with shamanic practices and ancestral rituals that gave her deep experiences of Life. During an intense travel to Mexico, while meditating, she realised that yoga was her way to live the truth she had seen. In 2013 she began her yoga and tantric sadhana (spiritual practice) and after a year she took a hatha yoga teachers training course in Sivananda Yoga. She lived, served and practiced at the Sivananda Yoga and Vedanta Centre in Berlin for about a year where she engaged deeply into Karma Yoga and learned how to cook by the principles of Auyrveda. In 2016 she was initiated into Kriya Yoga by Swami Shankarananda Giri and into Tantra by Guruji Raj Kumar Baswar.
