Family Reunion Fellowship The September gathering, formerly called Picnic in the Street or Homecoming, is going to be different this year. This year it is going to be called the Montrose UMC Family Reunion Fellowship. This fellowship is going to be held on Sunday, September 11 th. The day will begin with only ONE service at 10:00 a.m. Directly following this service we will have a potluck brunch/early lunch. There will be plenty of tables set up in Baldridge Hall for all to join in the food fellowship part of the day. The tables will be marked with months of the year. It is suggested that you sit at the table of your birth month. Families with young children can decide which birth month is best for them. The whole idea of this fellowship is to get to know people who attend a different service than you usually attend. For the potluck brunch/early lunch, the following guide is suggested: Last Name A G: asked to bring salads and side dishes Last Name H P: asked to bring main dishes Last Name R Z: asked to bring fruit, desserts, sweets We hope you mark your calendar and plan to attend our Montrose UMC Family Reunion Fellowship on Sunday, September 11 th, beginning at 10:00 a.m. This time change is only for September 11 th. The regular three services of 8:15, 9:45, and 11:15 will resume on September 18 th. If you want your usual seat in the sanctuary, you may want to come a little early for the service.
