ANGLICAN ORDER OF PREACHERS CHAPTER 2016 CHICAGO, ILLINOIS AUGUST 10-13* Chapter 2016 will be held at St. Alban s Episcopal Church, in the Norwood Park area of Chicago; the parish will share in hosting us with nearby New Hope United Methodist Church and Norwood Park Lutheran Church, with which the parish forms an ecumenical cluster called Diverse United. While accommodations will be at nearby hotels, the program for Chapter will have as it central point the round of Common Prayer in the Daily Offices and The Holy Eucharist. As was done last year, we will be requesting the houses to provide Officiants for the Offices, Celebrants for Eucharist and the, Lectors, Homilists and Preachers for the services each day. ACCOMMODATIONS Accommodations will be at nearby North Shore Holiday Inn and the second option, for those preferring to be close to the airport, is the Marriot Chicago O Hare. Blocks of Rooms which can be booked as singles or doubles have been reserved at both locations. North Shore Holiday Inn: Rooms with two Double Beds. Cost per room Single $125.00. Cost for Double Occupany will be $62.50 each; however booking has to be made under a single name. (Plus tax $14.5%). Includes Breakfast, Parking. Marriott Chicago O hare: Standard Room has a King bed (Can be converted to two Queens when reservation made). Cost per room Single $159.00. Double $ $79.50 ($17.4% tax added) Includes airport shuttle. Does not include parking, breakfast. For convenience to all, attendees are asked to book and pay directly for their own rooms.
