Fr. Larry s Corner of the Bulletin Happy feast day! Today is, of course the day when we are celebrating 35 years as a parish church, it was June 16, 1983 when we were officially made a parish and Fr. Emil Fardellone was named the first pastor. The main focus of our celebration is the celebration of a solemn Mass at 10:00 today. The opening procession at Mass is going to involve the Knight of Columbus, the Salesian Cooperators, the Order of St. Louis IX medal winners and our various parish organizations. Fr. Joe Vien among the concelebrants. After the Mass, there is a reception and lunch at the Four Columns for those who have registered. It will be an opportunity Collection for September 30, 2018 to greet old friends who will be Collection.. $5455.00 returning to our parish for this occasion and I even here there will be some surprises as we reminisce about old times. It is a great day for our parish as we not only look back on our past and all the people who are responsible for our success that we celebrate today but we look forward to our future as we rededicate ourselves to prayer, community, education and service to the young after the example of St. John Bosco. There is a little souvenir of this special day for everyone as you leave the church today. Let s all enjoy this special day that the Lord has made! God bless!
