Healing: Receiving and walking in Divine Health Part I Healing is God s will

Healing is God s will God has created the human body with an innate healing intelligence. Natural healing vs. Divine healing: Human methods of healing work through the body or through the mind. But God heals via His Spirit and through the human spirit.

Healing through the spirit Be preserved sound and complete in spirit, soul, and body. (I Thess. 5:23) We must worship God in spirit. (Jn. 4:24) by grace through faith... (Eph. 2:8) Faith is the hand of the heart, the spiritual faculty that perceives and receives from God.

The indwelling Holy Spirit The Holy Spirit is living in me! I ask and invite you, Great and Mighty Holy Spirit, to make real in my experience all that my Lord Jesus has won and has done for me!

Right and wrong thinking Washed by the water of God s Word. (Eph. 5:26) Renewed in the spirit of our minds. (Eph. 4:23 Receive the mind of Christ. (I Cor. 2:16/Phil. 2:5)

Faith begins where the will of god is known This is the confidence the assurance, the boldness which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything in accordance with His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to us and hears us. And (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted to us as our present possession] the requests made of Him. I John 5:14-15 Amplified

God s will to heal We know that He can But will He? Fifteen Reasons Why We Know that it is God s will to heal

Reason number one We know that it is God s good and perfect will for us to be healed because of the origin of sickness and because of God s eternal purpose!

Reason number one Genesis 1:26-28, 31 It was very good! Malachi 3:6 The LORD changes not! Hebrews 13:8 The same yesterday, today, and forever! III John 2 I wish that you may be in health! Revelation 21:1-4 No more tears...no more pain! Matt. 6:9-10...on earth as it is in heaven! Romans 5:12 Through one man, sin and death entered. I Corinthians 15:26...the last enemy to be destroyed. I John 3:8...to destroy the works of the devil. Luke 13:16 Sickness is Satanic bondage. Acts 10:38...healing all who were oppressed by the devil...

Therefore We know that it is God s good and perfect will for us to be healed because of the origin of sickness and because of God s eternal purpose!

Reason number two We know that it is God s good and perfect will for us to be healed because Jesus was God s will in action!

Reason number two Hebrews 1:3 the exact representation of God s very being! John 6:38 I came to do the will of Him that sent Me. John 8:29...I always do those things that please Him. John 14:9 Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father! Matthew 9:35...healing every sickness and every disease! Matthew 15:30...great multitudes came...and He healed them. Mark 1:40-41 If I want to? Of course I want to! Be healed! Matthew 14:14...moved with compassion...he healed their sick.

Therefore We know that it is God s good and perfect will for us to be healed because Jesus was God s will in action! Jesus is the Great Physician, yesterday, today, and forever!

Reason number three We know that it is God s good and perfect will for us to be healed because healing is in the plan of redemption!

Reason Number Three God s Plan of Redemption includes all of His blessings! Psalm 103:1-5 He Who forgives all sins, heals all diseases Isaiah 53:3-5 He Himself bore our sins and carried our pains Matt. 8:17 He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses I Peter 2:24 He bore our sins on the cross, and by His stripes, we were healed! The Double-Cure! Luke 5:23 Which is easier to say? Be forgiven or be healed? Jesus has power and authority to both forgive and heal.

Reason Number Three God s Plan of Redemption includes forgiveness and healing! Who is this Double-Cure Redemption for? John 3:16 God so loved the world that He gave His Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish! II Peter 3:9 The Lord is not wishing for any to perish. I Timothy 2:3-4 God desires, wishes, is willing for and longing for all men to be saved and healed I Timothy 4:10 The Living God is the Savior of all men in particular, of all those who believe, trust in, and rely on Him!

Reason Number Three God s Plan of Redemption includes forgiveness and healing! Is forgiveness available to everyone? Is everyone forgiven? How does one receive it from God? 1. Repent. Turn around. Change my thinking, my believing, and life direction and start agreeing with God! 2. Believe in my heart. Receive with my spirit; take hold with the hand of faith. 3. Confess the truth according to God s Word and Will. Is healing available to everyone?

we know that it is god s will to heal because healing is in our redemption because God s original and eternal purpose for us is abundant life! because Jesus is God s will in action Jesus, the Great Physician, is the same yesterday, today, and forever!

Yes! Of course! Thank God, it is his will for us to be healed!
