October 14, 2018 Welcome THE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH AT WORSHIP New London, New Hampshire WE OFFER OURSELVES IN PRAYER AND PRAISE 10:00 a.m. *Hymn (insert), Come, Now is the Time to Worship Brian Doerksen Prayer of the Day Loving God, we come to you this hour with our busy lives; filled with activity, filled with responsibilities, filled with distraction. Quiet our minds and open our hearts. Help us recognize you as the God who yearns to walk with us. Open our eyes and hearts to recognize the invitation to reach beyond ourselves with compassion and love for our fellow travelers on this journey. We pray this in the name of one who walked this life for us and taught us to pray saying: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. *Hymn 664, Thy Word Amy Grant/Michael W.
