We welcome soloist Gwenneth Bean. We have the opportunity to thank Bailey Sarver for her ministry as our Youth Director and send her with a blessing as she begins her ministry at the Campus Chapel at the University of Michigan later this week. The Worship Committee has been soliciting song suggestions from our young people to use in our worship services. This morning we will be singing #869 which was requested by Grace Spoelma. Evening worship: Brad Zwiers preaches from Matthew 4:12-25, Begin, Again. WORSHIP Next Sunday, August 5 Morning worship: Brad Zwiers will preach from Matthew 5:1-12, Blessed. Rebecca Padgett and Trudi Huizenga will lead us in ministry of music. The offering will be for Inner City Christian Federation. Evening worship: The Rev. Ruth Romeyn will preach from John 21:17-25, All of Cyberspace, and we will celebrate the sacrament of communion. Marjorie Gritter (district 9) passed away on Monday, July 23. A memorial service is being planned for later in the month of August.
