THE BLESSING of the Lord (Written by Debbie Brewer) (Illustration by Nolan Eades & Debbie Brewer) The blessing of the Lord--it makes [truly] rich, and He adds no sorrow with it [neither does toiling increase it]. (Proverbs 10:22 AMP) It is the LORD's blessing that makes you wealthy. Hard work can make you no richer. (Proverbs 10:22 GNB) The Heavenly Father wants to bless you with THE BLESSING, all that He is: healing, deliverance, peace, prosperity in every area of your life, finances, protection, love, joy, plus much more. Just ask Him and give Him an opportunity to be in your life. You will never regret it. He loves you so very much! Allow Him to dump His BLESSING in your life today! The Garden of Eden Effect When God created the Garden of Eden, it was only on a small area of this earth. But, God s intention was for man (Adam and Eve and their families) to expand it to go over the entire earth. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. (Genesis 1:26-28 KJVA) And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. (Genesis 2:15 KJVA) But, that ended when Adam and Eve sinned. Here is what the Lord said to them and He removed them from the Garden of Eden. And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; 1
in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; (Genesis 3:17-18 KJVA) Christ Redeemed All mankind from the Curse When Jesus came to this earth and died in our place of sin, He was then resurrected from death and restored to righteousness. He was our go-between us and the Heavenly Father, so we could receive what He did at Calvary, and become the righteousness of God through Him, as we receive Him as our Savior. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. (Galatians 3:13-14 KJVA) And if you belong to Christ [are in Him Who is Abraham's Seed], then you are Abraham's offspring and [spiritual] heirs according to promise. (Galatians 3:29 AMP) How To Be Redeemed From the Curse If you want to be redeemed from the curse of the law on this earth and forevermore, then you need to receive Christ Jesus as your Savior. If you have already received Him as your Savior, then you are the righteousness of God already, but if you haven t asked Him into your life yet, pray the pray below with all of your being, and mean it when you pray it, and you will become the righteousness of God through Jesus, and He will be your Savior. Only then, will you be prosperous in Him. Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in the Name of Jesus. I'm asking Jesus to come into my heart, and forgive me of all my sins. I confess Jesus is Lord. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me, and I believe that You, Father God, raised Him from the dead. Thank You, Lord, for saving me. Amen (so be it). How to Receive THE BLESSING of the Lord It is easy to receive from the Lord. All you have to do is find THE BLESSING in His Word (the Holy Bible), and claim them as yours by speaking them, believing them, and trusting God to bring them into your life. The more you speak them, and believe and trust God, the more you will receive. Do you want a teaspoon of them or a dump truck amount of them is totally up to you, and no one else. What you say is very important, and, how you say it, as well! If you speak THE BLESSING over yourself, and then talk to someone and speak just the opposite, that will STOP THE BLESSING from flowing into your life. So, watch what you say to others, or what you say to yourself. Learn to speak ONLY THE BLESSING and nothing more. 2
How to Reproduce the Garden of Eden Now that we have been redeemed from the curse of the law, and have been set free by Christ Jesus, we need to reproduce the Garden of Eden in our own lives and the lives of others by operating in THE BLESSING and letting it spread out from us to others. When we speak God s Word over our lives regarding THE BLESSING and prosperity in every area of our lives and those whom we pray for, the Garden of Eden effect starts working in and around us and spreads out to include those around us making them prosperous also. And, as we sow seeds into other people s lives this too can reproduce the Garden of Eden effect. Now is the time to put God s Word to work in our lives, and reproduce the Garden of Eden in all of those around us, and watch it spread! Start now by claiming the promises that God has given us throughout His Word and speak them out in faith (believing and receiving them now as if God handed them to you and said to you this is yours, take it and use it now. THE BLESSING God s Promises to You (Speak these promises out loud continually until they come to pass in your life and the lives for whom you pray them over.) (Genesis 9:1 AMP) AND GOD pronounced a blessing upon Noah and his sons and said to them, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. I will be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth, both naturally and spiritually. I will use the gifts that the Lord has given to me and be fruitful and multiply souls into His Kingdom. (Genesis 12:2-3 AMP) And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others]. And I will bless those who bless you [who confer prosperity or happiness upon you] and curse him who curses or uses insolent language toward you; in you will all the families and kindred of the earth be blessed [and by you they will bless themselves]. God will bless my family and me with abundant increase of favor, and I will be a blessing to others by dispensing good to others. And, all who confer prosperity and happiness on me will be blessed, and in me others will be blessed. (Proverbs 18:10, NKJV) The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe. The name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior, is my Strong Tower, and where I am safe. I call on His name continually as I need His protection from my troubles and problems. 3
(Exodus 15:26 KJVA) And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee. I am quick to listen to the Lord s instructions for my life, and I m obedient to the commandments in His Word; God does not put diseases on me, but He is my Lord who heals me. (Genesis 49:28 AMP) All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father said to them as he blessed them, blessing each one according to the blessing suited to him. My Heavenly Father blesses each of His children according to the blessing that is best for them. I speak THE BLESSING of the Lord over my loved ones that is best for them. (Romans 15:13, 33 AMP) May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope. May [our] peace-giving God be with you all! Amen (so be it) (Ephesians 2:14 AMP) For He is [ Himself] our peace (our bond of unity and harmony) Jesus, Himself, is my Peace, so I will bubble over in hope, joy and peace as I use my faith in His Word, and I will grow stronger everyday. (2 Corinthians 9:6-8 AMP) [Remember] this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows generously [that blessings may come to someone] will also reap generously and with blessings. (7) Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, ``prompt to do it") giver [whose heart is in his giving]. [Prov. 22:9.] (8) And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]. I sow generously so THE BLESSING will come to someone else, and I will reap generously THE BLESSING of the Lord in my life. I am a cheerful (joyous, prompt to do it) giver, and my heart is in my giving, and God makes every favor and THE BLESSING come to me in abundance so that I am always self- sufficient (I possess enough to require no aid or support and I m furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation. 4
