IMPACT INTERVIEWS Phoenix Gospel Truth Seminar 2017 At this year s Phoenix Gospel Truth Seminar, many gathered under one roof for a timely message and powerful ministry. These are the stories of people who have been touched by Andrew Wommack Ministries. Hear from them what it means to come full circle in a life changed by the truth of the Gospel! Deanne Gissel Tempe, AZ Where are you from? I am originally from Iowa, but I live in Gilbert, Arizona, now. I m also a Charis Bible College graduate. What is your occupation? I am the director of Charis in Tempe, Arizona. Before I was the director, I was actually a 911 operator for the Mesa Police Department. How has your life changed through Andrew s ministry? First, my sister got saved listening to a tape of Andrew Wommack s. I saw a huge transformation in her, and I thought, What happened to her? So, because Andrew had such a big impact on my sister, I gave my life to the Lord as well. It s amazing! And now I m working for Andrew Wommack Ministries. It s full circle. How has Charis Bible College impacted you? Probably the biggest impact that Charis has had on my life is extreme growth. Andrew says it all the time: when you spend four hours [a day] listening to the Word of God, you can t help but be impacted. It s effortless change. What did you think of Andrew s teaching You ve Already Got It! during the conference? It s such an important teaching, and it s one you could hear over and over and over again. The way Andrew teaches and the impact he s had on my life is building and reinforcing in me the kind of faith that You ve Already Got It! teaches us to have. Once

I recognize that, then I m able to take the focus off myself, focus on the people around me, and actually become the disciple that God has called me to be. What does partnership with Andrew Wommack Ministries mean to you? I feel like whenever Andrew goes to Africa or to England, or wherever he goes, I get to go with him. Because I m a partner, I get to celebrate in all the things that this ministry is doing. I get to be a part of it all. Would you like to say anything to Andrew? Thank you, Andrew, for all the things that you ve done for all the people you come in contact with. Thank you for the time that you ve spent in the Word. You ve poured it into all of us, and we re ready to go out and be disciples and do the same. I am grateful for the ministry you have, and I hope to continue to help grow that ministry. Laurel Tucker Elizabeth, KY Where are you from, and what is your occupation? I m from Elizabethtown, Kentucky. I worked for several eye doctors, and I ran an office for two psychiatrists. Tell us the story of how you were healed through Andrew s teaching. It started eighteen years ago with depression, anxiety, and fear. Soon after, I started having bowel problems and acid reflux, which turned into Barrett s esophagus. From there, I had low blood pressure, and fourteen years ago I had a stroke. I was taking a drawer full of prescription meds for all the diseases, and each medicine would counteract the other. I was not alive; I was drugged up! Six years ago, my friend sent me the DVD God Wants You Well, and I watched Niki Ochenski s healing testimony. I said, I need this, God. O Lord, can I be healed of this? Then I stood right up in my living room, and I said, You ve got to get me out of all this pain and all these diseases. At that time, I didn t know how to pray or that I already had it. Afterward, I started running. I threw away all my medicine. And soon after, I could do everything I could before. Everybody was asking, What s going on with you? Look at your eyes. There s life again! I kept saying, It s God. He s healed me. They were amazed. From that moment, all the sicknesses and diseases that had come on me fell away! What is your favorite teaching of Andrew s, and how has it changed your life? The True Nature of God really helped me to just want to pursue Him with all my heart, because I didn t see Him as somebody that was mad at me anymore. He s pleased with me!

How has Andrew s ministry impacted your family? Before, I was very shy and introverted. And because my husband has seen the change in me, he s really coming on board bigtime. To see the change in him has been wonderful. How are you enjoying the conference? What do you like about it? This is my first time seeing Andrew live, and it s the best thing that s ever happened to me. The atmosphere and praise and worship is just different than watching online, on TV, or on DVD. Is there anything else you would like to say? I feel like there s a connection to everybody in Andrew Wommack s ministry and that if I need anything, they re there for me. I got a man on the phone, and he helped me [find a healing testimony]. He told me how to go online to watch the Merci Santos story. So, thank you, Andrew! You, your ministry, and your team have saved my life. I want to share God with everybody now. I was introverted, shy, and wouldn t talk to people, but now I m changed! Kunle Adeniran Lagos, Nigeria Where are you from? Tell us a little about yourself. I m from Lagos, Nigeria. For my friends who find it difficult to really pronounce Kunle, they just call me Pastor K. This ministry makes it possible for someone like me, who s coming from Lagos, Nigeria, to learn and see things that I never thought were there before. How did you learn about Andrew s ministry? I became acquainted with Andrew Wommack through his books. One of the first books I came across was the Every Day with Jesus Devotional. Then I started watching some of his videos online. And every once in a while, somebody who had traveled to the States would return to Nigeria with one of his tapes. What has been your experience at the Phoenix Gospel Truth Seminar? The experience I ve had listening to him yesterday and today, teaching from Colossians 2:10, has been mind-blowing, especially having the revelation of what Colossians 2:10 means to me in my life. It gives me reason to live my life, continue my ministry, and raise my family, because it tells me a lot about what God has already done and about the things that I must keep at the forefront of my life. Would you like to say anything to Andrew s partners? This ministry makes it possible for someone like me, who s coming from Lagos, Nigeria, to learn and see things that I never thought were there before. Your partnership is not just giving the

Word to the people in the United States; it s a global thing. And when it goes global, more people are blessed by it, more people than may ever be able to say thank you to Andrew. Their lives are being blessed by the partnerships and the support that go into this ministry. What do you think about the Association of Related Ministries International (ARMI)? I want to be a part of ARMI, and I want to invest in the ministry. It s beyond all of us. It s all about the vision of taking the Gospel to the world, and the world is still waiting. Is there anything else you would like to say? I would like to say a very big thank you to Andrew Wommack and the partners for this conference. I heard about it in December, and I made sure I was going to be here. I really didn t know what to expect, but it s been beyond anything I could have expected. It s been an experience worth the time. So, thank you, thank you, thank you very much. Jennifer Machado Mesa, AZ Where are you from, and what is your occupation? I m from Mesa, Arizona, and I m an administrative assistant. Tell us about your Charis Bible College experience. I m a Charis graduate of 2011. Charis impacted my life in my personal relationship with the Lord. I grew in the grace message and became rooted and established in His love for me. It wasn t based on my performance. It really made me more comfortable and confident interacting with people. People would always notice a difference with me, and I had the power to tell them. Which Third-Year program did you take? What was it like? I did the Worship School, and that was a great help to me. It gave me the spiritual foundation that we re not begging God; we are welcoming Him. And Worship School gave me the practical application of how to do that in excellence. Instead of getting thrown in there to try to figure it out on my own, I learned how to do the practical things. What comes to mind when you think about Charis? It s home. The thing I love about Charis is that there are students there from every age and aspect of life. Almost all of us have relocated there specifically to go to college. We ve left parents, children, and grandparents. So, God connects you with people of every demographic. If you re missing family, He gives you a new set of parents or siblings or grandparents. One of the things that I think is really valuable about Charis is the relationships. It s not just information. God also makes connections for your ministry and your life. What s one of Andrew s teachings that has impacted your life? Spirit, Soul & Body has really helped me to understand and see victory in life, to know the different parts that make up who we are, and to know how to deal with all the things that happen in life.

Is there anything you would like to say to Andrew? Thank you, Andrew, for all that you have done for us, for me. Thank you so much for the impact that you ve had and for teaching the message of grace that we need so desperately. Lupe Shepherd El Paso, TX Where are you from, and what is your occupation? I m from El Paso, Texas. I m a transcriptionist for Andrew Wommack Ministries, the best job in the world. I get to hear current events from the Holy Spirit through Andrew. I m also a 2011 Charis Bible College graduate. How did you first hear of Andrew? I started listening to Andrew on the radio when I had a forty-fiveminute commute in El Paso, Texas. There was life to what he was saying, and there was truth. What is your favorite teaching of Andrew s? I d have to say that my favorite teaching is Spirit, Soul & Body. After I graduated from Charis Bible College in 2011, I started leading a Charis Bible Study, and that teaching changed my life. I struggled with allergies all my life. As I was teaching Spirit, Soul & Body, I realized that I was healed even from this and that I d been accommodating allergies in my life for so many years. I just told my body, You are really whole and healed. I don t even know how it happened, but I do remember making that truth manifest in my body, because I was struggling with unbelief. I kept saying, The truth is that I m really healed. The word of 1 Peter 2:24 says that I m really healed. And these allergies, which weren t even mine, just left because they had nowhere to park anymore! What does partnership with Andrew Wommack mean to you? I was getting free CDs and free tapes, and because Andrew sowed into my life, he s reaping the benefit of it now. It s come full circle. And because of what I give, I am helping somebody else to be able to receive those free CDs. What would you say about coming to Charis Bible College? Coming to Charis was the greatest thing I ever did in my life. I realized that there really is a cost to come, financially, physically, and emotionally. But what I discovered is that there s an even greater cost not to come! If you already have that seed in your heart to come, you re wasting time. You really need to come now.

What would you like to say to Andrew and Jamie? I ve had the privilege to tell you so many times in person that you changed my life. And I can t say it often enough, but I m forever thankful and grateful for your obedience in teaching me how to be obedient too. I m so appreciative of every truth that you imparted into my life. And I believe that it s not going to be until eternity that we really see the impact of all the people that I have affected because you taught me. And thank you, Jamie, for helping Andrew do what he knows to do. I m so thankful. Thank you.
