When Mandy Harvey lost her hearing, her father Joe (LCS 09) could do little more than demonstrate his trust in the work of our heavenly Father, and encourage Mandy to do the same. A shared love of music, a crusty celebrity, and a faithful God, led to a remarkable new chapter in their family story. 4 Sharing Wisdom Parenting a child is challenging, but parenting hundreds of other people s children surely must be a calling. For the last fifteen years, Caryn Collins has helped hundreds of young women cross the threshold into adulthood only to have her success replaced with another crop of freshmen.
