SR. PATRICIA MELANSON I was born in Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada. I have 41 years of profession. The first 18 years of religious life was in ministry in New Jersey, New York, Louisiana and Florida. On my return to Canada, I spent most of my time in teaching ministry in Toronto and in New Brunswick I am the Animator of DBC and St. Paschal Baylon Parish Youth Club Coordinator
SR. EILEEN JOSEPH Born in Campbellton, New Brunswick, Canada and the 13 th child of 14 in a French catholic family. Was raised by loving grandparents in Pointe Verte, N.B. after my mom died. Was teaching for two years when the FMA invited me to help out at the weekend oratory. Their smile and gentle way with the young attracted me more towards religious life. Was professed in North Haledon in 1958 and made it my home for thirty years. Came back to Canada in 1991! And forever thanking God for all those wonderful years in HIS service.
SR. ROSA MAK (YIN FOON) I was born in Hongkong in 1949 I have 45 years of Profession After finishing my Formation years in Italy, in 1975, I returned to work in Hong Kong and to Macau as Teacher, Principal, Supervisor of School, Assistant in the Novitiate, Provincial Council Member; I came to Canada in 1997 to join my family and assist my elderly / sick mother. I worked as a Supply Teacher in different High Schools during the weekdays. On Saturdays, I work as Directress of the Chinese Language School run by the Toronto Catholic District School Board. I'm also the Bursar of the community.
SR. ESTELLE JOHNSON I was born and baptised at St Louis de Kent, N. B on January 8, 1938. In 1957, I entered our Institute as Postulant on October 12, at Pointe Verte, N.B. In 1960, I made my Religious Profession at Newton, USA, and was happy to give my services as a cook & house work for about 10 years in NJ, Portchester and Pennsylvania as a young Sister. Then in 1970, I was sent to Canada to various houses in Montreal, New Brunswick and Toronto among the young people. These, I gladly accepted doing the cooking, housework and other activities doing animation in the church, oratory and youth center. I also enjoyed teaching in the Daycares and now giving lessons on "Initiation to Music" to young music enthusiasts and also doing crafts for the mission. (cont)
SR. ESTELLE JOHNSON Being now 77 years old, with 55 years of fidelity in my religious life, I surely must say with great joy and happiness with all my heart, my sincere gratitude to Jesus who has done marvellous and wonderful things in me, indeed. Finally, during these years of amazing service at our Don Bosco Center in Toronto, truly I can say I have an exceptional and beautiful apostolate here, indeed! I am thankful for the many chances I can serve God among young adults and children. His blessings are abundant. May God be praised forever, Alleluia!
SR. CORAZON BEBOSO I was born in the Philippines, the 6 th of 8 siblings. I entered in 1968 in Canlubang, Laguna and made profession in 1976. I am celebrating my 40 th anniversary this 2016! I have enjoyed teaching, animating the Oratory Youth Centers and Salesian Youth Movement in the Philippines. In 1991, I went to Auxilium, Rome to further my studies in Education and Catechesis. In 1999, I was asked to come to Canada as a Missionary. In Montreal, I worked at the Filipino Mission as Youth Coordinator and formed Catechists in Missione Maria Ausiliatrice Parish. In 2002 I was assigned in Toronto where I began Retreat Ministry in High Schools and among university students. I got my Canadian Citizenship in 2011. I am the Vocation Director in the pre-province and Coordinator of the DUC IN ALTUM Discernment Program, now in its 8 th year! I love to accompany young adults in their search for God, for their purpose in life and their vocation. Music, Salesian Spirituality, Catechesis and Reading are my passions. Mary is always my Guide!
