And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them, and said, "Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. "Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me; "See that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I tell you that in heaven their angels always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 18:1-5, 10 God our Father, in your loving providence you send your holy angels to watch over us. Hear our prayers, defend us always by their protection and let us share your life with them for ever. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Phasing out Microwaves Due mainly to logistical challenges and some safety concerns, we will begin to phase out the use of microwaves in our lunch room. If you purchased bulk microwave lunches, you may continue to send them in, but don t replenish. Thank You! Band Instrumental music lessons are underway but it is not too late to sign up. Little Flower Oratory for Girls and Don Bosco Oratory for Boys: According to the tradition of our Religious Family and in the spirit of St. John Bosco, the Novices hold two oratories, one for girls and one for boys every Saturday. The oratory is open to girls and boys between ages 6 and 12. The most important element of the oratories is prayer, but the children also enjoy sports, crafts, cooking, etc. The children learn the importance of the human virtues, but most of all, they learn the importance of faith and prayer through talks about saints, the life of Jesus, and the prayer of the Holy Rosary. The Community Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Novitiate House of Formation is located off of Crain Highway near Montpelier Farm and offers two oratories for children on Saturdays. STUDENT SPOTLIGHT This past Saturday, Thomas McCauley, 8th grade, assisted the K of C Council 9302 by removing a decrepitated sidewalk and laid a new concrete sidewalk outside the classroom for the Sisters at the Community Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Novitiate House of Formation.
