Sep 11 - LINCOLN EAST ROTARY S SUMMER PICNIC HELD AT GRAMPA S WOODS Rain, Rain, Rain, please go away Rain! There were 18 Members and 13 Guests at our Club Picnic last Wednesday evening. Harland gave the invocation.the food was delicious. There was no formal meeting nor entertainment. Everyone was talking to one another with resulting fellowship and understanding among members. No photos were taken because the camera remained in the camera case. Golf was in the rain with good humor and a sense of fun for those who completed the course. A soggy time was had by all. No one left early and no one left hungry. The beer was especially cold, the meat and chicken were done perfectly. The dessert was especially good. Hope to see more of you next year. Plan to all be there.
