WORLD MISSION OFFERING We will be receiving the World Mission Offering throughout the month of November. This American Baptist mission offering serves to support the work of American Baptist missionaries around the world. Once again, this year s offering will be designated to support Kyle and Debbie Witmer and their work in pastoral education and leadership development that they are doing in Thailand. Thank you for your understanding. CHURCHWIDE MEETING/LUNCHEON Our annual business meeting is scheduled for Sunday, November 20 th at 10:45 AM after a brief dismissal from the morning service. Following the Annual Meeting, the Thanksgiving luncheon will be held in Esken Hall. Luncheon will be a soup, bread and dessert meal. This is a new schedule to enable full participation in the Annual Meeting. Sign up for the Thanksgiving soup luncheon at the Welcome Desk. 14TH AND CHESTNUT COMMUNITY CENTER The center will be handing out food baskets for 70 families for Thanksgiving and again at Christmas! Their needs are: Cans of: corn, green beans, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, gravy, pie filling, evaporated milk, cranberry sauce, frosting Boxes of: macaroni and cheese, stuffing, instant mashed potatoes, cake mix Packages of: dinner rolls, pie crusts, foil roasting pan These items will be collected in a box in the atrium. Cooked turkeys to serve at the dinner can be brought to 14th and Chestnut Community Center on November 17th. Cooked ham to serve at the dinner may be brought to 14th and Chestnut Community Center on December 8th. DUE TO LIMITED FREEZER SPACE at 14th and Chestnut 8-10 lb. turkeys may be delivered to 14th and Chestnut ONLY ON THE DAY OF DISTRIBUTION-Thursday, Nov 17th. 6-10 lb. hams may be delivered to 14th and Chestnut ONLY ON DAY OF DISTRIBUTION Thursday, Dec 8th. 14th and Chestnut Community Center is also seeking coats, winter gear, and undergarments.
