London Region Exhibition by London Region in Guildford at Surrey County Fair on 27th September Two Majalis Roehampton & Putney organised this Exhibition together. This Exhibition was decorated with Pop ups, banners of the Holy Qur an and the sayings of the Promised A view of visitors on our Exhibition Messiah ہیلع االسلم. Many persons discussed the teachings of the Jama at. Most visitors expressed their horror regarding the fire incident at Baitul Futuh Mosque and expressed their good wishes. One visitor remarked, I feel pleasure to see you people here, introducing true picture of Islam. By talking to you people, my concept about Muslims and Islam is clear now. We distributed 320 books of World Crisis and 460 miscellaneous leaflets. One group went to East Molesey and another to Shepherds Bush. The banners of book, World Crisis and the Pathway to Peace were prominently displayed. Response to our activity was overwhelmingly positive. Few visitors took pictures of the stall and even dropped money into the collection boxes of Humanity First. A guest at the stall of Majlis West Hill Baitul Futuh Region Majlis Morden South Tabligh Exhibition & Eid Party Morden Library An Exhibition was arranged from 28 th September to 3 rd October in the Morden Library. During this week around 600 visitors came to see the Exhibition. Eid Party at Morden Library by Majlis Morden South On the last day of the Exhibition an Eid Party was also organised. After discussions with the library staff it was decided to offer food. They also agreed to advertise the event through the library s social media accounts (Facebook and twitter). About 150 people attended this event which took place in the main hall of the library, and they all commended our efforts. Majlis Walton gives donation to Mayor s Charity, SPARKS on 25th October The Mayor, Councillor Jan Fuller, commented: I was delighted to attend the function on Sunday and see such a diverse range of organisations present and I was very grateful to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community for the donation to my chosen charity, SPARKS. A number of local guests and friends attended the event including the Rev Jonathan Andrew of St. Peters Church, Hersham, Terri Collins of Elmbridge Community Link and The Counselling Partnership, and Steve Bazley of Surrey Police. The Reverend Jonathan Andrew stressed How important it is at the present time for people of different faiths to engage in respectful conversation with one another. This was not to deny the very significant differences in belief between the faith communities, but to recognise God s gifts present in all people so that we can work together for the good of all. Speaking after the event Terri Collins said: I very much enjoyed the event; the delicious food, company and the opportunity to learn more about Islam. As someone who has been brought up within the Christian Community I appreciated the message of the Ahmadiyya Community "Love for all and Hatred for None" and if more individuals throughout all of the Faith Communities practised this message then the world would be a peaceful place. We must pray that this message prevails! About eighty people from all walks of life attended the meeting and over dinner they exchanged views on many different subjects. People generally expressed good opinion about our Jama at. A Kuwaiti Sunni Muslim said, "Ahmadis are the best Muslims in the world without a doubt. If everyone follows your sect then the world would be a much better place to live in. He mentioned that he came to know about our Jama at through MTA International. He further added your Khalifa is an extremely wise leader and may be one day, I will join the community. The Mayor thanked the Ahmadiyya Community for the donation and appreciated our work of throughout the world. Regional Nazim, Mubashir Siddiqi Sahib thanked the guests. On this occasion an Exhibition was also setup. Guests were presented with the books Life of Mohammad and ﷺ World Crisis and Pathway to Peace. Eid Lunch at Baitul Ahad Mosque Newham on 27 th September Majalis Ansarullah Newham, Barking and Redbridge South- East Region hosted a joint Eid Lunch. Regional Murrabi Arif Khan Sahib explained that the festival of Eid was about caring and sharing with others regardless of their faith or creed. There was a Q and A session afterwards. Seventy four non Ahmadi guests attended this function. Regional Murrabi, Safeer Ahmad Khan sahib gave a brief introduction of the Jama at and explained the reasons for celebrating this festival. ح ح Midlands Region Tabligh activities overview ن ااصنر اہلل Amir Sikandar Sb with a visitor, Stoke on Trent A special Stall for the distribution of book at the Mosque. He was invited by Asad Javed Rehan Sahib, Tabligh Secretary. The event was chaired by Dr Ch. Ijaz Ur Rehman Sahib, Naib Sadr Ansarullah, along with, Maulana Abdul Momin Zahid Sahib. In his book Mr Page also acknowledged the work of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad السالم,علیہ who is the leading pioneer of research on this topic. He particularly mentioned that Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad علیہ السالم in his book Jesus in India stressed the fact that Jesus did not die on the cross and lived the second half of his life in Kashmir. A question and answer session followed his speech, after which dinner was served. Around 35 guests as well as over a hundred members of the Jama at attended. The proceedings were recorded by MTA International, followed by a personal interview with Barry Page. This meeting was part of the project that Welsh government is undertaking for interfaith community hormony building. The invitation was for 3 participants from Ahmadiyya Muslim Association so Mr Ch Kaleem Ahmad and Mr. & Mrs. Dr. Ata ur Rehman attended. In his speech the Religious Minister specifically mentioned and admired Beloved Hazoor's lecture on BBC about tolerance.
