Fellow Members of Trinity: Just wanted to update everyone about recent happenings regarding the property. We installed new windows throughout the building. These are high-tech design, insulated with new screens and a lifetime warranty on glass breakage. In addition, we have installed new faux wood blinds on each window. Hopefully this will reduce electricity costs. The cost for the windows with blinds will be approximately $11,300 about $470 per window. Also, the second A/C unit in the fellowship hall failed, leaving it with no cooling at all. These units had been installed in 1988 and could not be repaired. So, we had both replaced. The new units are new five-ton threephase units complete with new heaters and evaporators with duct work upgrade. These were installed at a cost of $15,195. As you can see, these items have taken a lot of money. We would really like to replenish the building maintenance fund and are asking for your help. If you could donate a few extra dollars, whatever amount you can spare, to the Building Maintenance Fund, it would be greatly appreciated. Maybe you might want to sponsor a window or half of one. Whatever amount you can spare will work. Be sure to designate these extra funds to go to the Building Maintenance Fund. There are also other things that need to be repaired and replaced, such as replacing the lights in the kitchen and fellowship hall a few at a time, new garbage disposal unit in kitchen, restroom upgrades, shed painting, trim painting, and bell tower painting and staining. We would like to take care of these want to items before they become have to items like the A/C. I will be placing a list of projects on the wall in the narthex. Please look over this list and see if there is a project you might want to be responsible for doing. If so, write your name beside the item on the chart. If you need supplies to complete it, either buy them yourself and request reimbursement or let me know what you need and I will take care of buying it. If at any time, you see additional repair or maintenance issues, please let me know. You can contact me at 832/259-2097 or email at Property@TrinityHempstead.org or teapeg@gmail.com. Thanks! Tommy Albert, Trinity Property Maintenance Chairman

Work Day Report A work day was held on Saturday, September 8 th and including some of the earlier work a lot was accomplished. Trees were trimmed and the limbs hauled off; windows were caulked; storage building and sidewalk were pressure washed; parking areas were restriped; blind installation was completed; garbage disposal unit was installed; window sills and wooden part of pews were wiped down with Old English; floors underneath the pews were hand scrubbed; all of the kitchen cabinets were wiped down with Old English and tables were re located in the Confirmation and Sunday School rooms Thanks to Rhonda and Keith Becvar, Scott Dunn, Karen and Roger Frey, LaDonna Helton, Tracy and Teresa Hoffart, Charles Kulhanek, Glynne Luetge, and Tommy and Peggy Albert for all of the hard work! Although a lot was accomplished, there is still a lot to do. A list will be posted on the website and in the Narthex. Please consider taking on one (or more) of the tasks so we can whittle it down. If we all pitch in, we can get our wonderful church back in great physical condition again.
