Worthington Meditation Chapel
Reverend Tim Worthington Pastor Tim Worthington, Dow Rummel Village Director of Spiritual Care, is an integral part of our mission. Christian spirit and service is the essence of our care. Pastor Tim s care for the spiritual needs of all of us here at Dow Rummel is evident in his service to others each and every day. From late-night calls from someone in urgent need of God s words of comfort, to kind gestures offered daily to members of our Dow Rummel family, Pastor Tim has touched the lives of residents, families and associates. One of the first things I noticed about Tim when I met him was that he can make music ring in the hearts of everyone he meets! His gifts for ministry are a perfect match for Dow Rummel Village. I m so glad he found a welcome here. Rev. Kathy Timpany Rev. Tim Worthington and his wife, Rev. Kathy Timpany Reverend Tim Worthington was raised in Turner, Kansas (now a suburb of Kansas City). Worthington Meditation Chapel The mission of Dow Rummel Village is to provide friendly, secure retirement living that meets the ever-changing needs of a diverse population in a community sustained by Christian spirit and service. -Dow Rummel Village Mission Statement Rev. Worthington has always had a passion and a calling for ministry with those in the latter years of their life. He loves their stories. He loves learning what they have to offer about journeying through life with humor and hope. His work at Dow Rummel Village is a source of great joy, for him and for all who benefit from his spiritual care. Because of his continued commitment to the vision and mission of Dow Rummel Village, our Board of Trustees has unanimously authorized the naming of the Meditation Chapel in our new building in honor of Rev. Worthington. We are excited about the opportunity to recognize Pastor Tim. The Worthington Meditation Chapel will be located in our new Memory Care and Assisted Living building on the northeast part of the campus and will be completed in 2019. Your gift in any amount toward the Worthington Meditation Chapel will help us reach this $500,000 goal. For those giving $5000 or more toward the Worthington Meditation Chapel, we will provide a recognition by the Chapel. Other naming opportunities are available and will be recognized. Will you help us reach this goal as we honor Pastor Tim? It shows the importance of building a community of care both for residents and outsiders.
