Mr. Kaiser said that as discussed vrith the Board, he had negotiated a contract vrith the Trustees of the Village of Tvrin Oaks and the owners of that private sewer system. The treatment plant has been examined by our Wastevrater Department personnel and the sewer systera investigated by Maintenance personnel. n response to questions frora Mr. Young, Mr. Flick said that the location of this systera is roughly at Big Bend Road and Highway.l4l and consists of a sewage treatraent plant, trunk, sub-trunk and lateral sewers. He said further that this would tae incorporated vrith other facilities into a somewhat larger service area, resulting in- considerable efficiency. Mr. Rodefeld asked what,our charges would be and Mr. Kaiser said that they would be. the same as aretaeingmade now, i.e., $7-50 per month. The connection charges wouldtae.$800.00 per house. Mr. Kaiser said that at the Kansas City Regional Office of the Environmental Protection Agency, the Chief of Grants Administration asked that the District name but one person to be its authorized representative for all grant projects. There are some 12 grants pending. Mr. Flick said that since Mr. Kaiser is handling.the grants, he thpught that he should be the named representative. The Chairman said that.the 13th and 27th of Decemtaer were the days on which the Board would normally raeet. However, historically the Board has only met once during Deceraber.
